Oh, I thought that one was yours, no wonder. But now that you mention it I did hear about two gatherings, just got it mixed up in my head.

It's a show on the theme of "hope and despair", kindof about DADA, and basically a theatrical assemblage. I'm writing the music for it. Right now it's still rather nebulous, because it's a collaborative work being put together by most of the cast.

My sister lives in the U.P, and she had never heard of naming snowstorms. When I was up there for Christmas, we tuned in to one of the Green Bay stations and the they were talking about storm "Fern" (I think), and we both had a good laugh about that.

Bummer - I totally get where you're coming from with the winter blahs. It's actually what made me leave Memphis - no sunshine for MONTHS. Yuck. I was okay with the snow in MN because there were a lot of sunny days. But in Memphis, not so much. I've never heard of snowstorms ever getting names. But, I'm from Michigan. Yeah, I've been posting more vids lately, but I'm not feeling that awesome lately. It's the weather, I think.

I'm not going to san fran, but I thought about it in december when I first heard about it.

I think it is a local thing because I've never heard of that. If it's a particularly bad storm (which we had a huge blizzard in december), we just say, "The storm of (insert year)".

I remember shoveling and crying a lot.
