  • that guitar solo!!!

  • great song to just chill to :)

  • I like this mellower song from Grinspoon.. probably wasn't plugged too hard cause it is so different from their usual..

I interviewed the Grinners a few times in Lissy for community radio.. somewhere I have a bit of reel to reel with some swearing on it...

  • Fucking classic

  • ooo i like it, just been reen recommended by a friend!

  • Best album I ever bought, GTBL with the bonus tracks. Unfortunately it's scratched to shit from years of love. Cheers for uploading this mate :)

  • I still play this , quite regularly, since I first saw them perform at Caringbah Inn after they won JJJ unearthed, early 90's, $5 to get in, 100 people max, was one of the best nights of my life !! On stage & all,, effing brilliant. :) ps, I'm now a mother with 2 boys, who dig them just as much as me... Stoked.. ;-)

  • we all need gravel

  • Fave song off this album. Grinspoon were and still are one of my fave bands of all time. I was like 15 or 16 when I got this album. Pure awesome.

  • @Ladybella1 Without a doubt dont understand why it wasn't plugged harder? Maybe they just thought cause they were new they wouldn't get taken seriously. It was such an Awesome time to be a teenager in Australia there were so many really good bands all at once, what happened?

  • First heard this track in a mountain bike movie year and years ago. It still stands up on it's own. Solid track.

  • @aquaboy232008 - did you know the boys from grinspoon?

  • @teenangstbrigade they came to my place once on the gold coast and hooked me up with tickets and free piss. nice blokes they were

  • @stixable :O, My dream is to meet the guys from Grinspon. They have got me through many of hard times. Especially this song. Way better than half the shit on the radio these days haha. But yeah, that would've been tops meeting them.

  • Wow, this is all flooding back to me aye?

  • Just brilliant. Its a shame they did go a bit soft, just like Silverchair, even the Living End did too. They all sort of say the grew up, but this is the stuff we love them for!

  • I'm proud to love the Grinners

  • Oh the memories. I bought this cd back in high school on a whim and ended up very surprised. I was a pure metalhead at the time too and this album brought me around to different things. I absolutely love this album.

  • @BroodOz i was in the room with phil and pat when they wrote it, it hurts me more than you could imagine

  • @BroodOz indeed.... agrred cobba they always kick ass to me tho..

  • @BroodOz indeed and agreed broodoz

  • Extremely good. With out a doubt, this album is one of the best ever from Grinspoon, am still loving it full on, Railrider also rocks !

  • This has gotta be the best Grinners album ever!!!

  • the difference between this song and the other shit that is out there is it will last forever and they will not

  • grinspoons only good album imo, loved these guys but just went to shit like all the other bands and went down hill after they had 1 good release ie silver chair frog stomp

  • Word

  • epic song! Reminds me of being a teenager in Australia in the late 90's. I don't think I need a time machine. Amazing how you can venture into your past by listening to music you haven't played for awhile.. and if you need to go into the future well there's always prog rock!

  • yoyu don't know how lucky you are, i'm growing up as a tennager now and everything on radio and tv is shit just absolute shit

  • @KaneBeutel Fukin damn right. All you here now is stupid pop and most teenagers listen to shit like miley cyrus and jonas brothers

  • @rhettpeter83 im 32 now and i get goose bumbs every time i listen to grinspoon...

  • @rhettpeter83 i have one word for you x's 3 = yes, yes, yes

  • this song sorta went un noticed, could have been a number 1

  • this is one of those that now all of us get to say:

kids these days just don't get to grow up with really great music.

Grinspoon have to be one of the best things that Australia somehow has kept private haha

  • one of my fav songs ever... brings back so many happy memories of my teen yrs

  • one of my fav songs raw emotional and fuckin awesome!!!!!!!!

  • one of the best songs in the world :)

  • I first heard these guys on JJJ and thought it would be nice to see them live.

Found they were playing a gig at Penrith Leagues Club where they were supporting the Screaming Jets lol.

My mate liked the Jets so said he would drive us out there and when I went into the stage area there was just one other guy there.

Me and this stranger danced around to our own private Grinspoon show, they only had a few songs back then but It still rocked.

  • that guitar solo is magic

  • With all the crap songs out there, how is it that songs like this are unknown?

  • i know, it's 1 of my favourites

  • i agree with you. it's something that i've always struggled to understand. something like love shack has been radio raped for decades and the whole song is gimmicky. haha then u have songs that show raw emotion and are well composed that are overlooked

  • @mmutlu it's cause ignorance is cuntagious

  • @mmutlu I know this song and i live on the other side of the globe. Rotterdam to be precise. Lov this song, love grinspoon, LOVE bad funk stripe!

  • unreal song
