It's clear that he thinks that he has "arrived" by stating he has no plans in changing. That is pride. Although I am a strong believer of the pre-trib rapture, I am also teachable and open to other views so as long as it is conveyed in a skillful manner. So often people think they know it all which is why they never learn. Perhaps that's part of the reason he believes the way he does. God gives grace to the humble but he resist the prideful.

@RobertMOdell I believe in a pre trib rapture because of my study of the scriptures. I think to often in the body of Christ we major in minor things. The important thing is the two greatest commandments and receiving the imputed righteousness of God that comes by grace through faith in the Messiah. Love God with all of your heart mind soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself The testimony of YAHSHUA/JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy

@RobertMOdell How will my faith be impacted: it won't. I haven't placed my faith in man's teachings i've placed my faith in God. I'm determined to be prepared either way brother. I try not to be one sided about things also.

@godapproved Glad to hear that your faith won't be damaged. Its going to be a wonderful time to wait for when the sun is darkened and the sign of the Son of Man appears in the sky! I can hardly wait for that trumpet call when the elect are gathered into the clouds.

I thought pre-trib, pre mil rapture was standard for independent baptists isn't Pastor Anderson going against most of his own folks on this?

Jesus Christ has always been there for RISEN men to see. The reason why no-one sees him today, is because men remain FALLEN. The bride is supposed to prepare herself spiritually in order to meet the bridegroom, only they believe that mere acceptance of Christ is preparation enough.
