racing around a track. to me that is boring and requires big dedicated RC tracks. but drifting in a different kettle of fish. combines some scale modeling, race skill, precision driving, and hey its less nurdy than rc racing. and can find many places to turn up and use a drift car. I used to like to drift my old bmw (real car) a 535i it would really fishtail and hang out, but too illegal if police pinch ya its real bad, also clobbered a rim and really expensive! rc drift = cheap + fun + cool
this is really great work. I love the lights Id love to know how to make pop up lights. you could use some more micro servo to fling the doors open, or pull a window down. I tell ya RC has come a hell of a long way since I had cars like tamyia monster beetle circa 1985. Im just getting back into RC now and starting to build a drift car. just purchased a hpi rs4 pro 2. its carbon fiber, so hoping its a good base. didnt cost a lot from ebay. Im never going to be into blasting a car racing
