I LOVE The Almost. Amazing music. They're a Christian band that has a good size secular fanbase. To me those are the most legit Christian bands ones who don't forget who they are in Christ and also don't forget who all is out there in the world. I am not exactly a "worldly" christian, though I do have a faith in a God that created everything in this universe, and watches us, and is everything. this music directly speaks to me to know that I'm not alone in the universe with my negative feelings i feel from time to time. It is quite an amazing song in every way.

I really don't understand how a person could look around and think there's no God, our complex world doesn't just "happen" We have over 300 trillion cells in our body that all have a specific purpose and make us who we are (like DNA). Take ice as another example.. do you know what would happen if the polarity of water molecules wasn't lined up perfectly? ice wouldn't float and if ice sank, then the oceans would freeze causing algae (a main source of oxygen) and other sea life to be nonexistent.

It is not 'So obviously wrong', because most all the events can be placed where they say they were, especially Jesus'' tomb, where there lies no bones or remains. Christianity is the only religion where you don't do anything to gain love from God.

So this song. Means alot to me. I tear up every time. I think about a time when my life was shattered and I couldn't pick up the peices. Noone was there for me. But God didn't give up on me. He saved me & I decided that I wanted to live. For him. I want my life to be about serving others because of God's grace. This song is wonderful.

All the problems that you are dealing with are happening because of the bad deeds you've done in your past lives, and you will have to suffer through them. However, what you can do is PRAY and confess your sins to your Father, and if you really believe in Him, and TRUST Him, He'll forgive you.

First off I would like to say that I do agree with the amazingtoot, that all questions are not answerable.
I would attribute the current state of man (and thus the world) to it's forsaking of the ways of God, forsaking his laws and commandments. The commands of God are for our benefit, he does not want us to suffer, but we choose to do so. There is this song by Lecrae called Truth in which he addresses this question. I think he addresses it rather well.
The addressing of that question starts at around three minutes (3:04?). Basically if we want God to remove evil then he needs to remove us. Just think of all the wrong things you have done, you may not have done terrible atrocities in the eyes of men, but you have done wrong. I know have. I even violate the laws written on my own heart, much less the laws of God.
@chelsearulez09 A major part of Jesus teachings is to take up the cross and walk with him. He admits it will be far from easy and that you will be persecuted for what you believe. Our time on earth is only a precursor to our existence in heaven. No one is innocent except Jesus...and look what he went through. Just because the evil "prosper" in material things shows nothing about there internal emotions. And to show an example of the good suffering, read the book of Job if your interested.

I really don't understand how a person could look around and think there's no God, our complex world doesn't just "happen" We have over 300 trillion cells in our body that all have a specific purpose and make us who we are (like DNA). Take ice as another example.. do you know what would happen if the polarity of water molecules wasn't lined up perfectly? ice wouldn't float and if ice sank, then the oceans would freeze causing algae (a main source of oxygen) and other sea life to be nonexistent.

It is not 'So obviously wrong', because most all the events can be placed where they say they were, especially Jesus'' tomb, where there lies no bones or remains. And you're wrong about Jesus being 'one of the 152 different messiahs', because Jesus spoke so differently than everyone else. Christianity is the only religion where you don't do anything to gain love from God.

First off I would like to say that I do agree with the amazingtoot, that all questions are not answerable.
I would attribute the current state of man (and thus the world) to it's forsaking of the ways of God, forsaking his laws and commandments. The commands of God are for our benefit, he does not want us to suffer, but we choose to do so. There is this song by Lecrae called Truth in which he addresses this question. I think he addresses it rather well.

Just think of all the wrong things you have done, you may not have done terrible atrocities in the eyes of men, but you have done wrong. I know have. @chelsearulez09 A major part of Jesus teachings is to take up the cross and walk with him. He admits it will be far from easy and that you will be persecuted for what you believe. Our time on earth is only a precursor to our existence in heaven. No one is innocent except Jesus...and look what he went through. Just because the evil "prosper" in material things shows nothing about there internal emotions. And to show an example of the good suffering, read the book of Job if your interested.

@DraamaHD Hi, just want to get my point across on this issue. I have looked for the past 4 years for "God", but I guess he doesn't exist for me. I have gone to church many times before, but it's not for me. I do not consider myself an Atheist but rather an agnostic. Even though I don't believe in "God" I still enjoy Chrisitian bands such as Underoath and The Almost. If you would like to have a discussion with me feel free to message me or reply to this. :)

Sometimes, letting go of what you want lets you hold and find love, true love. Amazing grace is out there, but it only comes when you're ready for it. It will never force itself on you. That is what is so amazing about it. Its out there, it costs your shallowness, your hurt, your tears... but in exchange you get joy, you get a reason to live except for yourself, it gives a chance to love and be loved, and it will never let go, stop calling, quit, or leave. That is what true love is: AMAZING! <3

every time i listen to this it reminds me of my friend who past last year I dont think i can listen let alone sing this song without either tearing up or thinking ab it it seriously sucks. He had so much work to do he was so worried ab trying to save other trying to steer pupils in the right direction he didnt take a step back and trying to help himself on becoming a better person... where ever he is i truly hope he's in a good place and his hard work counted for something.
