I REALY LOVE THE NYC F-3s DIESEL ENGINES TO ME I THINK THAY LOOK BETTER THEN THE SANTA FE F-3s BUT THERE STILL GREAT ENGINES I HAVE POSTWAR LIONEL NYC F-3 #2354 AA FREIGHT SET #2229W FROM 1954 ITS A GREAT SET BUT I WAS SURPRIZE LIONEL NEVER MADE THE NYC PASSENGER CARS FOR THE POSTWAR NYC F-3 SETS ONLY FRIEGHT BUT WHEN I PUTUP A NICE LAYOUT I WOULD LIKE TO PICKUP A MATCHING SET OF NYC PASSENGER CARS TO RUN WITH MY NYC #2354 F-3s IT WOULD LOOK REALY NICE
Beautiful! Simply beautiful. Wish I had all that room for my trains... Just magnificent. Those cars look really good from Golden gate, very detailed, no wonder the price tag. Kudos my friend.
Thanks very much for the comment. Too bad I can't keep the whole 25-foot-long train intact, but, if I do, then I can't run anything else around the railroad, because the block signal controls have to be turned off. It's very cool to re-enact the old painting of "Centuries Pass at Night," with two 20th Centuries meeting and passing each other (safely, of course).
This is the best passenger train in O scale that I've seen in a while. How did you get all those cars to stay together? Beautiful job. Please show more vids! Thanks!
Thanks, my most expensive passenger train, too. How did I get the cars to stay together? It was kinda difficult to run a 25-foot-long train. I had to disable the block signal controls (or else the lights in the middle and rear cars would have blinked on and off--highly distracting). Therefore, I had to clear all the other trains off the high-speed layout. There are more vids here. Ck out the new Penn Sta video and the Acela 1.0, Thanks for your note!

ARE THESE DIESEL TMCC OR LEGACY?

TMCC. These are a few years old and were pressed into service when the new Super Hudson locomotive failed the job of pulling the entire train

Hi, I might be getting this set. Any problems with trucks or derailments? Can a single Loco pull the entire train? Thanks, it looks awesome.
