do i have to ply my yarn after i spin it? how long should i let it sit before i use my yarn to let the twist stay?

Once you have plied your yarn, how do you know if the yarn is now ready for knitting up? Will it kink up or twist while you are knitting? Or will it stay calm as you knit?

For curiosity's sake: what type of wheel is that? The flyer and bobbins look like majacraft but I don't think they make saxony wheels.
