@0inkypig The way singaporeans celebrate christmas is going to clubs and orchard road and crowd the whole street. in western countries, people celebrate christmas at home with family. that's the real celebration. not senseless partying and drinking.

@zombie766 Sure Singaporeans do that on Christmas. But not ALL Singaporeans do. Others have gatherings at people's houses or bring the whole family on vacation elsewhere. I can assure you it's exactly the same as western countries.

The only difference is that Singapore only has so few places to go to so you encounter this 'flooding of people in the streets'. Go to Las Vegas and see the same 'senseless partying and drinking' you mentioned. The world is a big place. Open your eyes a little!

@ccaian1 uhm, Orchard Road is always decorated with beautiful lights during the Christmas period. There are also many Christmas performances in different malls. A lot of Singaporeans do celebrate even though some aren't Christian.
