I'll be picking up my new Colt stainless Combat commander on Friday....what sucks is even thought i live about 20 minutes from the Colt factory,I couldn't find one in CT..I had to get one out of state & have it shipped!

colts are nice, but man, the firing pin safety in the series 80s kills their appeal for me. series 70s are great guns tho, a lot of semicustom and modern 1911s you see today are based on series 70 design features.
