Not bad at all. I remember Halfmoon Road being quite smooth to Elbert's trailhead, and staying smooth to the trailhead of Mt Massive. I think it started to get rough after Massive's trailhead though, so much that a normal sedan would never make it past a few hundred yards or so.
Thanks for putting this video together. I used it recently in my planning. Also, since I don't have a video this is a good video documentation of my own climb!! How can I get a copy??
Those furry animals next to the trail are marmots. And there are 3 or 4 false summits before topping out. He mentioned that there are few if any switchbacks on the summit trail.
