nice and like somebody said before, the charisma is there.... i got the ingredients already so i gona start cooking!! god bless you and kip on with the good cooking
i couldn't find Parmesan at the grocery today so i bought mozzarella cheese so is okay i use mozzarella instead of parmesan? and can i use flour instead of cornstarch?
@DesiGuRl13 Parmesan cheese is naturally salty and it isn't as stringy as mozz when its melted. A good substitute for Parmesan is Romano cheese. Corn starch helps to make things thicker, luckily, so does flour. You need to be careful when using flour in a sauce, however, because if you do not cook it, it will taste like raw flour—not appetizing. If you'd like to use flour to thicken a sauce, make a roux (pronounced roo) and add it bit by bit. Search "roux" online for recipes! :D
nice just don't push down the pasta on the plate when you do the presentation .good chef don't care of the italian telling you thinks because on cooking there is no laws is art like paintings. maybe you are e genius
She is a very experienced cook. I saw the cornstarch she was adding it looked dry and it scared me at first, but then I noticed she had it mixed in with cold water before adding it to the sauce... That's a very vital step as the cornstarch will lump if in contact directly with hot liquid... Smart girl!
i like the way this "chef" has everything laid out and ready to go. very good planning and seems to care about the way she presents herself (chef's outfit). can't wait to get home and try this recipe myself. I'll be waiting for her TV show on the Food Channel.
I think you did a wonderful job. the food looks great, and is well prepared. Next time though, try to list your measurments it really helps others follow your recipe.
where can i get the whipping cream thing you pour in the pot? can i get that at any store? for the oil, what kind of oil is it? do i need to flavor the shrimp or anything?
omg...thank you so much little miss chef!! l am definitely going to try your recipe, with a few adjustments though. thank you for sharing with us and keep up the good work!!
i recommend olive oil, it gives it a nice flavor.Yes the penne pasta was cooked, well not fully cooked. i cooked it halfway so when i add it to the shrimp and veggies , its like finishing it off.And no, this recipe is not for one person its enough for a family, the sauce and other stuff is fine just double the pasta and shrimp and your good to go! p.s thanks i will!
Very Impressive Chef Lupita. I do have a couple of questions for you, first i'd like to know, what kind of oil do you recommend? second, was the penne pasta previously cooked when you added to the other stuff? last but not least, is this a recipe for one person only?
