  • @simplyasunder that will not do the trick, hogs hides are really thick.

  • Good shot!! You're lucky you took em down! That big one, I'm glad you got her. hehe Did you take her home and eat her? :)

  • @tall32guy Thanks! I'm glad too. That would have hurt. It was too far to carry back to a vehicle, but I did cape it out and have it mounted!

  • @jganschow Cool! :):)

  • i'd make a boat anchor out that gun that jammed... you could have been hurt bad!!

  • STAM PIG!!!

  • Love the beeping, its like a war movie, amazing... its so epic, wish I was there.

  • This is amazing, its like saving private ryan or something, love the POV its like a war zone or something... fuckin' epic!

  • much like what I do in texas(near Houston) but I would fear doing it as a group of guys coming from all directions.. I saw that 1 bullet scoop up dirt about 20 yrds from you .

great video ... I think I have watched it 5 times over the past 2-3 years

  • nice

  • AN SKS should not jam. Get it checked, bud.

  • Ya'll need buck shot. And a chill pill. And a good driver/shooter policy. Wow, that was a night mare. You're lucky to be alive, brother.

  • mate thats nothin, we get charged all the time in aus theres nothin ya can do to prevent it besides climbin up a tree, i side arms not gonna do much against wat? 8-9 even 14 pigs. the blokes that bowhunt down here get charged they either climb up a tree or get sliced or push the pig aside spin around grab there back legs and drive a knife into there heart they dont carry guns. some of the other bowhunters here even get surrounded by a packs of dingoes the biggest ive heard is a group of 8-12

  • Which gun jam?? Why did you guy carry the gun and the barrel point to each other?? looking for accident or what??

SKS got jam?? which? I got SKS without modify and never jam.. I swim cross the river and carry in my back, it wet of course but I came to another side of river..put 10 rounds shoot..next 2 clips done...NO MISS FIRE what so ever!

  • What guns did y'all use?

  • Wheres was this at, I need to go there. Looks like good moving target practice. I've shot jack rabbits on the run. . .

  • I use a lever-action myself. I love semi-autos, but just the thought that one could jam up in a situation like that keeps me from using one for hogs. I usually use a .45 Colt rifle witha same-caliber pistol loaded with hps, or a .30-30. Thinking about starting a hog control business here in Missouri.

  • I saw one AR platform in the video, what caliber? I saw the SKS/AK and I don't think I would want to be holding an SKS with a herd like that running at me. Give me a 450 Bushmaster and a 10mm Glock! Good video! Bring ammo and a change of drawers!

  • did you carry a side arm after that

  • @falloutforever88 Yessir! I actually had a .45 with me, but it happened so fast and all I could think to do was unjam the rifle and keep shooting. I only fired twice (which dropped the lead hog) before it jammed. The other fire was coming from about 40 yards to my right through the woods (which explains most of the misses).

  • @jganschow

I've always wondered about this. If someone else is shooting say a few hundred yards away and you don't see eachother, how do you avoid accidental shootings?

  • @falloutforever88 When I go hog hunting, I'm putting my bayonet on my newly acquired mosin nagant 91/30. If I get charged, hopefully that will do the trick.

  • @Brookssteff "I alone with my 30/30 would of got a pig for every bullet i shot.they would of fell where they got hit or ran no more then 10 feet"

That is 1 shot 1 kill. You claimed you would have killed a pig for every bullet, and they would have all died stone cold dead within 10 feet.

Bottom line, you are a liar.

  • @Brookssteff So 1 shot 1 kill on charging group of pigs when you don't know how many are coming, or if they are about to turn and attack you. In a situation just like theirs, you would get "a pig for every bullet i shot" and none "ran no more than 10 feet."

Don't you realize that when you make that kind of claim, you prove yourself a fool and a liar? That is the kind of claim that a basement dweller who thinks playing xbox is hunting makes.

    Pathetic.

  • @USSBN734 for one the likely hod of a pig attacking u in a bolting heard is so fucking slim. unless ones been cornered or have no way out then they might. look at my vids before commenting iv shot animals for local farmers from the age of 8 im now 26 i dun this every day after school with out fail and 2 years professionally after i left school. and i did not say one shot one kill i sad at least the same amount or a touch under. iv never played an Xbox never has interested me. iv always gun's

  • @Brookssteff had guns

  • kooks

  • do you got vids where the wild boar kills the hunter's dogs?

  • @paladindarknite no. that is not a favorable situation. i've only witnessed minor cuts.

  • @Mrwilwak Coyote bait.

  • damn they grow em big down there im north of dallas we killed all the ones that big lol

  • yeh there was alot of gun saftey there...

  • @gshdrums They kept their lanes and id'd their targets. Pretty good for the situation.

  • all that shooting for 3 pigs. there should of been a pile 3 high ten wide and a mile long

  • @Brookssteff you can't tell how many were injured to die later. Pigs are very tough

  • @USSBN734 the point was how shit of shots they where.for as many rounds they shot there should of be at least an equal amount of pigs or just under. just a bunch of fags that cant shoot for shit going out with ten guys cos there scared. i alone with my 30/30 would of got a pig for every bullet i shot.they would of fell where they got hit or ran no more then 10 feet. just a bunch of f^%&ing losers

  • @Brookssteff

I have seen hogs that took a solid hit from a 30-30 and keep right on going. If you are do darn good, where are your videos?

  • @keyfitter um try click on my name iv killed more pigs then you have had hot breakfastes boy. iv not had a pig run more then 15m once they have been shot eva and have shoot truck loads of pigs and big at that.

  • You've got some intense videos brother. Love the channel.

  • @weareteamxstream Thank you!

  • I have seen this vid many times I love this!! Lots of testosserone inj this one . GOD BLESS TEXAS

  • what guns where you using?

  • hahahaha that reminded me of that scene in the first Jurassic Park where all of those dinosaurs were running

  • Damn that had to be scary as fuck!

  • Is that old sabine bottoms out in lindale? I busted one with my AK out there a few months ago, seen a ton but it's shotgun only right now.

  • niiiiiice man how many you get down

  • watching this vid makes me wanna make a hunter on WoW

  • That’s a mighty lot of shots fired and only three boars.

  • @katanaguy100 huh?

  • Where is this at?

  • @drewduncan15 Just south of Dallas.

  • those are massive

  • @katanaguy100 I do "D

  • hogs are taking over i saw a show on discovery or animal planet. they get big and injure people

  • HOLY S**T nice hogs guys what guy you using the cammera guy looked like a ak but it stinks that your gun gammed

  • this is when you high power rifles and lots of bullets

  • How does it taste compared to farmed pig?

  • @jak487 Much leaner and a little more gamey.

  • what gun were you using because it didnt help at all i sugest a bigger caliber

  • Daggum, I think I would want a semi auto 12 gauge loaded with buckshot for hunting with all those little trees in the way. Ask any point man who had to do jungle warfare. That would be his choice.

I read in another place on the net, these big hogs are aggressive and destructive. Many dogs and humans have been torn up by these things. Glad nobody got hurt.

  • Those are some BIG hogs man!

  • you guys ever use dogs

  • which place is this??

  • Thats why i use a ar with 5.6

  • son of a bitch I would hate to be in that situation

  • SKS sucks and so does your shooting skills. A bayonet will get you hurt with a charging hog. they are solid muscle, and at full run they would run you over. Been there and done that.

  • cant belive an sks jammed that sucks

  • lol shoulda just carried an old 30-30

  • damn they are fast!!

  • The guy that said he didnt shoot, what gun was he hunting with a Mini-14?

  • @easttxtycoon Yes, that is correct.

  • what the hell is all the damn beeping throughout the video.

  • those are some big ass hogs

  • THIS IS NOT PIG HUNTING. THIS IS A WAR. IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE WHEN WE WERE HAVING A DEADLY SHOOTOUT WITH THE VIENT CONG DURING THE VIET NAM WAR. AFTER THE SMOKE WAS CLEAR, IF YOU WERE STILL STANDING YOU WOULD SEE BODIES LAYING EVERY WHERE. YOUR COMRADES AND THE ENEMIES AS WELL. NOT A GOOD SITUATION TO BE IN.

  • @CanonVue --- Yeah but hog hunting is a lot more fun because pigs dont shoot back!

  • I'm debating either a .243 bolt action or a SKS for hog hunting. But after seeing this video, I would go with a SKS with the bayonet on in case of charging hogs. Wonder why you took the bayonet off. It will be a good last dedense.

  • @l2bang3 Either would work. Don't think the bayonet is quite legal though.

  • @jganschow thats funny as hell

  • @l2bang3 Unless you're hunting from a stand I'd go with the SKS. Semi-auto is a good insurance policy lol

Don't get me wrong though, I love .243s. Used to have one for a long time

  • @l2bang3 a .243 should do the job on hog never heard of using bayonets on a hunting rifle though, i can understand why you would want one though

  • How many boars were in the area? And how many should be there?

Did you kill for fun or doing your job?

  • @JackyNickelson There were somewhere between 20 and 30. There shouldn't be any! They're a non-native, invasive species that was brought to North America a few hundred years ago. We hunt them annually, both for fun and to help the farmers that lose thousands of dollars each year due to crop destruction caused by the pigs.

  • @jganschow true. The same is in England, Australia and some other countries. In my country they are not under control fortinately. They even showed up at the other places across the border. That was a 150km north of this giant group.

Actually a big nothern part of the reservation park can take on 800 boars. Now after a soft winter there are over 5000 of them.

  • I'm going to be doing this down in Florida soon. Can't wait!!! How much meat do you get from your typical hog? Also, how does it taste?

  • @teknic111 Shoot 'em all! We usually only take the hams and the backstraps. It's ok if seasoned properly. Much leaner than domestic pork (obviously). Have fun!

  • I would of been nervous of the cross fire... Geez that looked more dangerous from bullets flying then the pigs charging..but big pigs that ya did get..

  • yeah thats the way... shoot as many bullets as you can and hope you get one LOL

  • Great video! I'm impressed that you got it on film. I ran into a similiar situation on my place in Texas. Was using a Springfield M1A with iron sights. Killed six. I could have had more. Now I use a AR-10 with an EOTech. Much better for close encounter, fast moving, multiple targets

  • I'm french, i hunt in our monts called Vosges (For those who would like to come to go hunting by us.)

Never I saw similar noob, let die from this ,shooting, shooting, but shooting down them with dignity...

Try to come to go hunting in Vosges and make you friends!

  • Dude this vid is awsome i live in upstate NY and wana hunt them so bad, thinkin bout movin i hate winter here. i have a marlin 45-70 stainless guide gun with a wiliams peep sight, would that work well on these?

  • @NYpsycho81 Yeah, that would work. Anything big, with knock-down power is good!

  • @jganschow how bout a .243 HnR rifle

  • Use a tapco 20 round mag. I've never had one fail to shoot or jam. I have a 30 round pro mag and its fucking junk. Jams every time on the first round. Never shot anymore rounds through that mag.

  • I think these things are from outer space , is this normal , scary stuff !

  • Oh man, to have my m2 with buckshot at :05 to :10 seconds. Intense video man...well done

  • that poor animal. shoot em in the head.

  • Do they taste good? How do you know what direction is safe to shoot in all that commotion?

  • Nice work, myself I use a pump action 12 gauge with brenneke slugs, you dont get any jams.

  • what are you using ?

  • @3333chad3333 The gun? SKS.

  • @jganschow How do these things taste? Had deer, bear and every other wild game but never boar. Boar hunting in the past was with spears and dogs.....god bless modern technology. Nice Vid thanks for posting. Not bad for a last day..what was it three?

  • @Kensh1D Thanks! The sows or smaller ones are ok to eat. Not like domestic pork though. Much leaner. Would have killed more if my gun hadn't jammed after the second shot. The other shots were coming from about 40 or 50 yards to my right, through the timber.

  • Pretty 1 sided there.......

  • @XSH0TYA Well no ones telling the Hogs they cant shoot back.

  • shiiittt!!!

  • what part of East Texas?

    I live in titus.....

  • @skjudith Near Waxahachie

  • East Texas?? I live in East Texas and those hogs don't get that close to ya.

  • @Hambonehawk Yeah, it's only happened once. They were trying to circle back on the rest of the guys and they ran right into me.

  • now run thru the field and whoever makes it without getting trampled gets 5 bucks

  • 3:26 WTF ? a white boar o.O ?

  • Man I would mind hunting some of them hogs, you guys allow hunting on ur land?

  • man that was so cool!!!!

  • rofl this is like a warzone

  • @03protegeES yea thats why i use leather and steel armor and use an ak47 (well my real reason is that some asshole introduced russian hogs and razorbacks into the local population near my area)

  • this is why i use an ak-47 and wear special armor made of leather and plate steal (we have a razorback problem in my area)

  • where was this video taken.....cause i need to visit!

  • @BLK281302 East Texas, my friend.

  • cool

  • Looks like fun.

  • Which gun Jam?? AR-10??

Throw that away and get SKS..NO JAM FOR SURE

  • @CharlieDoan SKS jammed. As it jammed at the worst possible moment at least a half-dozen other times. It now sits in the gun vault and I rely on the AR-15.

  • @jganschow What ammo were you using for it? I have found that certain brands are easy to jam up and flake off metal pieces, especially if its Remington. This isnt to say that Remingtons ammo does this for other types of ammo, but I found it makes a bad choice for the SKS. I usually go for Wolf brand. Stay safe out there.

  • @cyberplunge I was shooting Wolf also. I think it was probably the magazine that was the issue. We've had luck with the Tapco mags in some of the SKSs, but others seem to jam no matter what. I'll just stick to the 10-round factory magazine.

  • Good guns....jam at the first shot!

  • that beeping noise got really annoying.

  • Great video of an amazing hunt.

  • what satisfied you guys killing the wild boars? by eating them?

  • That's an incredible video! That's as good as Boar Hunting ever gets. That's almost a once in a lifetime experience. WOW! I'd have given anything to have been on that hunt. P.S. SKS's don't like removable magazines. That's why it jammed. SKS is a good Hog Gun, but you need to just rock it 10 shot, and get good with the stripper clips.

  • @Fookwah Thanks! Yeah, it was incredible. I'd give anything to do it again with a different gun. The 10-round mag usually works fine, but it still "smoke stacks" once and awhile. I shoot a Stag Arms .223 now. Not as good a round, but still does the trick.

  • @jganschow Well, an plain vanilla AK wouldn't be a bad idea, or an M1A or an FN-FAL! Then again, never discount the good old 45-70 Guide Gun! Cheers, and thanks for the reply.

  • @Fookwah I will buy an M1A sooner or later. I think my next purchase is going to be a .308 Howa Axiom though. Need something to reach out there and punch them!

  • @jganschow Springfield's M1A scout is a pretty nice little carbine. I'm a big fan of .308, but it is expensive, especially if you don't reload. An AK is cheaper, and the ammo is far more affordable. I wouldn't have a problem even using Wolf 7.62x39 on Boars/Ferrel Pigs as they're so fat, the Wolf Ammo will eventually tumble inside their massive frames. Still, the M1A is a super nice weapon, and I understand your attraction to it.

  • @Fookwah I've just always been a fan of American military weapons. AKs are good, but I need a long distance rifle to add to the mix. The 7.62x39 round is perfect for pigs. And cheap enough to burn through a 30-round mag without worrying about it!

  • I'd use at least a 10 mm glock for a back-up...what rifle's do you guys use?

  • @walkabout990 I carry a .45 or a .40 for backup, but in the heat of the action, all I could think of was trying to get the gun unjammed. It happened so fast. We shoot a variety of guns for pigs: SKS, AR-10, AR-15, Mini-14, Mini-30, .204, 7mm, etc.

  • @jganschow I used Beretta .40 to back up..at home I used 9mm (my gun is COMBO came with 2 slides 1 is 9mm and .40) I feel like got 2 guns..THANKS BERETTA

    - Got SKS (or any semi auto is save your live)

    - In dangerous games: never keep your eyes away your sights....best if u do 1 follow up placement shots....until He/She DOWN

    - If using bolt action: You lost time to reload and EYE AWAY FROM YOUR SIGHTS ....and wild hogs are very strong..must put him down after second shots quick!!!

  • @jganschow i think you need more practice

  • @jganschow you need more target practice

  • @lanabeeching When was the last time you've shot at a moving target?

And no, video games dont count.

  • @jganschow how do those 5.56 rounds do? i only trust my russian sks haha

  • Seriously???? how many times do you pull the trigger on 1 Pig !!! and nice that you get a couple of warnings from your mates.

  • @Bullitpruuf As many as it takes.

  • This is the opening scene from "saving private porker" bam- bam- bam-bam-bam-bam-bam-bam- ka-kling!

  • @roudy1689 LOVE IT!!!!

  • @jganschow thanks! i suscribed to your channel and saw the carp shoot...those things are a full on plague!!

  • @roudy1689 Thank you! Please come shoot some! Everyday. Forever.

  • @jganschow ok i did some research, those carp ARE an actual plague. kill them by the metric ton. was that a friends boat? and can you shoot them?

  • @roudy1689 Yes, it's no joke. The state and fed gov't are trying to kill them by all means. My dad and a few of his buddies bought this boat last year for the sole purpose of killing carp. It's a blast! We'd love to hit them with shotguns, but that's not quite legal. yet.

  • @jganschow well hopefully with steel shot you could blast those stupid carp. and fiber wads would make it biodegradable

  • I was out west of Dallas recently just outside of Graham out on my uncle's place when my brother and I came across a large herd feral hogs. I don't think there were any boars it was like three or four sows with the little ones. Sad thing was we were only carrying 22's so we decided not to shoot. Sadly every day after that when I was out on the land with my M1 we never saw the hogs again. maybe next time lol

  • I wanted to see the hunter up a tree.

  • The best hog hunting Ive ever seen was in Anahuac Texas, east of houston, west of louisiana line.... check it out if u get a chance.... many MANY far bigger sows than the ones here... but nice video. enjoyed it!!

  • Them there big hogs.

  • That was like a video game

  • them bastards can haul ass

  • it reminds me of that seen in Jurassic park. when that flock charged the kids and Dr. Grant

  • here in college station TX at gibbons creek they are big like this.

  • 1:01 what is that sound?

  • Wow... I hunt, but you really shoul start with a stop at the shooting range. Unbelievable, how many shots did u need?

  • @hehoid : I agree. Norwegian hunter here...this was not good shooting at all...

  • @338sako yeah the goal is 1 shot and put it down not fill the air with lead in order to hopefully hit one with really irresponsible shots. this kind of stuff gives hunting a bad name and gives fuel for the anti hunting fire.

  • @338sako For something like this with a lot of pigs on the move an unplugged 12 gauge loaded with buckshot is a much better option. By the way, I love my Sako Finnbear. Fine rifles made by your neighbors.

  • Is this on public land?? If so, where about is it? I'm looking to get into some hog hunting spots but I cant find any place that I can hunt on! Any info would be nice :)

  • @jack009l Sorry, this was on private land. Good luck! Pigs are everywhere!

  • great shooting and great camera work... excelant vid

  • What kind of guns were you guys using?

  • you guys always shot them with guns like these?? here, we gotta use bigger calibres for russian boar and deer. from 7mmmag and bigger. try it out and you dont need 5 shot to kill a boar! ;)
