@wangee then how com u clicked on this to listen to it? how com all these ppl givin out fatwas about music being ahram are always on the music pages??????? why wud u click on it? and remember u msut be qualified to be giving out fatwas, instead u shud direct ppl to shcolars who could tell us this. if its true
You know brother your right i do listen to music, thats haram on my part. How do you have to be "qualified " to give dawah. Any information you know, small or big you should share it. If you want a scholar who says its haram.
sheikh shady: listening to music
Im far from perfect but doesnt mean i cant tell you something you didnt know, or the other way around.
@wangee salaam, ur probz the very few ppl who have responded in a good manner on youtube so respect to u for dat. ofcourse its every muslims duty if they see haram to stop it physically, if not verbally, if not then hate it in the heart...... so ofcourse u shud tell others but wot i meant by 'qualified' was dat u shud be always able to bak up wot u sayin.
so im glad u referred to a sheik but u shudv jus added it in ur 1st comment.
Brother the hadith you mentioned is a little worng.
Found in: An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith
Hadith no: 34
Narrated: Abu Said Al-Khudri
who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say: "Whosoever of you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then WITH HIS HEART; and that is the weakest of faith."
Meaning make dua for that person, hating it in the heart doesnt do anything good.
I didnt refer to a sheik, i refered to the quran and sunnah. A sheikhs opinion does not conern me, what concerns me is what the quran and Prophet(SAW) say. Do not blindly follow. Refer everything back to quran and sunnah. one more thing when narrating a hadith or sura of the quran give a biblography so readers/people know it is authentic and reliable.
Anyway brother nice to meet you, i see your from london. Im Australian. How old are you......Im 17yrs old
some alims say wen its singing about allah and his rasl and lik this one death.and some say its haram period.and i heard a hadith wer rasululah (s) let aishah (r) to listen to music wen ther was a wedding.i have no idea
salam.musik is haram in islam we have enough hadiths for this and in quran allah refers this sound as the sound of shatan and its mentioned in surah rahman as haram.
I am always reminded of death to be better when I listen to this song. But I heard that music is haram. I'm not a scholar, so can someone please answer this question for me? Thank you.
Yes Music is haram Although i dont know that much but i do know that your not supposed to have any other instruments apart from some drums i think yeahhh...so tecnically its haram in other words..even though i love this nasheed
The subject of music's permissibility in Islam has drawn sizable debate from all corners of the Ummah. There are some scholars that say it is haram (forbidden) in all cases, some that say no musical instruments can be used, and some say it's halal (permissible) as long as it doesn't contain content which violates the principles of Islam (i.e. sex, drugs, violence, profanity).
yes i do think music if harm if there is bad laugugue in and bad stuff but also i beleive that even music that is ok,we shouldnt become addict to listen all the time cos we could forget to learn more about are religion and quran.nasheed are the best cos it educates us and helps us to learn more May ALLah protect us all
the messages in 3ilms songs are so strongly aimed at da'wah i dont think i could call it haram the messages are so powerful and they do not swear, talk about drugs, or talk about sex like most muslic does..the message in their songs over power the music in them so i think it is
no im sure if the lyrics are good the music isnt haram i think this because in the past music was used for the wrong things but this is for a good reason therefore it isnt haram...hope this helps although i am no scholar..:D
Just found out about this group today..great song.

Dont you understand a minor sign of the hour
is that people will make music "halal". Music is
HARAM except for human voice alone and the duff
(like a tambourine but without the bells).
Even if a song has a good meaning it is still
HARAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@wangee Haram is a strong word Dont you know? You shouldn't throw it out so loosely like that.
