I know a lot of music, i think all the 50's 60's 70's 80's and beginning of 90's music, when it was a real music, things like the beatles, elo, abba, doors, earth wind & fire, all the styles, even gospel boogie funky music. This disk is awesome from the beginning to the end all songs are great, "black widow" "downfall" "hatebreeder "cob" this one, etc. The people need to understand that this genre of music it's the same quality as the popular good music, sadly people judge before analyzing.

Excuse me, but I am a true Hate Crew fan and i will explain to you how even bloodrunk kicks ass. You notice that it is less melodic and slightly more technical, above all it is more thrash influenced due to Roope, and the evolution of Children Of Bodom. If they didn't evolve their music would sound the same, so try to accept it and find the beauty in it. (I myself didn't like it at first i preffered the harmonies in Follow the Reaper.)

Sorry am I missing something here? Lamb of god were never a melodic band. Also since when is taking AWAY melodies making you mainstream? Its the opposite, getting heavier is less mainstream. If they inserted clean singing chorus's whining about ex girlfriends then THAT would be going mainstream.

Dont get me wrong I muuuch prefer the old albums but some of the reasons people give for their hatred of the new ones are pretty retarded.

@ArchangelSuicide Bloodrunk is not their most technical album. HCDR was. Most of AYDY and Blooddrunk just sounded like mainstream generic thrash. Nothing wrong with thrash, but they didn't do anything to stand out in those two albums. Also, AYDY and Blooddrunk were not evolutions. Evolution is a good thing. They changed for the worse. They weren't stagnating in any of their previous albums so there was no need for as radical of a change as going from top-notch melo death to generic thrash.
