We are responible for maintaining and splicing these phsyical connections to Cell Towers. Verizon landlines, T-1 data copper circuits, and DS3 fiber feeds are our responsibility. I was involved in strikes in which I lost 8 weeks pay (1983 and 1989). My older Union sisters and brothers remembered much longer strikes.  Through these sacrifices, along with smart Union leaders’ negotiation skills, we built the wage and benefit levels that are still in place today.
