  • And when a father abuses a child, while the mother only watches, she is critisized fir not helping the child. But when the child watches a mother being beaten, suddenly we understand the pain, and that they cannot help. (What I mean by child is a mature one, like this)

  • SUCKS BEING VICTIM...ESPECIALLY WHEN NO ONE HELPS

  • Stupid film with no message just wasted my

     time

  • You're not a man if you hit someone smaller and weaker than yourself. Feminists can go fuck themselves, cause there's no way in hell I'm able to take a grown man.

  • This is reality man , and its fucking horrible , words cant explain !! to get bruised with a purple eye and bleed !! only one whi has been there will know what its like and its not a good feeling at all , it comes to a point in which you end up feeling so isolated and lonely , you feel you have nobody ... Girls are to be cherised and loved not to hurt them , so guys out there stop being fucking assholes and treat women wife, friend ,or gf like if it were ur treasure

  • @homestudii

Spoken like the true victim of domestic violence...you've seen it done so much that it makes you believe that the victim provokes. My older brothers think just like YOU.

  • @homestudii This isn't propaganda. It's reality. Yes, some women also are violent against men. However, in overwhelming numbers, it is women that are the ones that end up hurt, in the hospitals or killed - not men. You can't compare the two. If you're upset that your girlfriends punched you, perhaps you should think: does a playful punch for a joke make you feel anxiety or fear from your gf? Does it interfere with your day and keep you up at night? Probably not.

  • Me impacto y me encanto, buen trabajo.

  • There is no reason for domestic violence. A man using his physical ability to intimidate people is no hero. Anyone in a violent relationship, please get out.

Thank you so much for the film.

  • this makes me feel anxious because it reminds me of my father.

  • This is a really good short film. Congrats!

  • I'm 14, and I have never been a victim or witness of domestic violence but, I really, really want to help, or even make my own chairty to stop domestic violence. It makes me sick to know that this could be happening to anyone and it's so easily hidden. If anyone has any links for charities they could share with me, it would be much appriciated :) Thank you. ☮ ♥

  • i would of waited for him to go to sleep, poor petrol on him then set him on fire, then whilst on fire repeatedly stab him, grab my mum and leave.

Trust me i have seen domestic violence before (whilst i was a child). If i was old enough, i would of done what i said above to my cunt of a father.

  • then i come in and punch his ass

  • this is wat happends 2 mothers even on mothers day. why?????????????

  • This was real, but I wish it was that easy. Unfortunately current trends lean to accusing the mom of kidnapping, if she left with the boy. :/

  • didnt belive it one bit *tear rolls down*

  • why do people stay in those kinds of relationships? Help me please understand

  • @mrodwahoo88 Because the abuser has power over the abused person emotionally and physically it's not an easy thing to escape when someone knows what makes you hurt so much in many ways.

  • @mrodwahoo88 mental control, the victim is slowly brainwashed to believe they deserve it or its their fault

  • Really good.

  • That boy is such al loser, i would have pwned that idiot.

  • love it......

  • great work!

  • poor boy. i do feel sorry for him. his f-a-g-g-o-t jerk of a dad? no motherfucking way!!!

his dad should shut his yelling ass the fuck up! ass.

  • the ending sucks..

    but afte all good movie!

  • This is by far my favorite video on youtube.

  • great!

  • watch the short film on my youtube page called Love its about domestic violence. As my 2nd year uni film project on relationships. x

  • I just stumbled upon this. This is a very powerful and moving clip. Whoever produced has a bright future ahead of them.

  • we can say that but when you are in that for years i you get used to it and think its normal i know how it feels

  • thats in toronto!

  • its harder than what you think you get scared if you been throught youd undersatnd when it happens your scared of that personfor life :(

  • This is a good example. Specailly since it shows how a lot of kids do react - just standing by and afraid to step up- it happens a lot more then people realize. And yea, people should make one about a female beating up the husband or child, cuz its not always men.

  • i remember once when i was 15, my step dad had always hit my mom , my sister and me, my sister wa sa year older then me, but she was smaller, and i remember i came home from school and my my dad was fighting with my mother, my sister was behind me. and we walked in and he pushed her into a glass table and she cut her self very badly and i told him to leave her alone and he came at me and all i remember at that moment was my fist connecting with his face, he broke his jaw in 2 places...

  • and his nose was broken, and i also remember going to the station for questioning and he was in the hosbital and for some reason after he was let out he never came back, not even for his clothes or car or nothing.... and no i didnt hit him jsut once but i kinda blacked out and just hit him over and over again, but the moral of the storie is everyone has there breaking point, and to not let abuse keep going or you'll end up like me with a juvy record for beating ur parent half to death...

  • dat boyy should help dat lady, not hide it

  • billyandbarry i totally agree with u

  • im just curious, why is there no video like this where the woman beats up the man?

    seriously!

  • There should be one, I agree, because it does happen. But I think that the reason there aren't any is because the majority of the time, it is the men who are the abusers. Not always, but again, I agree there should be a video to address it.

  • Obviously, you didn't watch one of the episodes on the Tyra Banks show about women whom abuse their men.

In this case, men who are victims will often think their girlfriends or wives will change, but the abuse can get progressively worse.

In fact, I was in an abusive relationship one time where my girlfriend treated me like crap. While there was no physical abuse, there were alot of psychological abuse as she would treat her female friends better than me though I treated her like a queen.

  • No, I don't watch Tyra, but I have taken a number of Women Studies classes so I know that women can also be the abusers.

However, like I said before, the MAJORITY of the time, it's the men. At least the ones that are reported.

  • No really, what the whatever?!!!! He must have some kind of problem to let his mom get beaten like that. I believe he was able to interfere. Sure, get his own ass kicked in the process, but he could have done something.

  • I like the video...but i dont like that this is real

  • Fuckers like that man should go and die in a hole and burn in hell for all eternity.

  • @STFUNOOBZZ they will

  • What the fuck this kid is a coward. I would beat the shit out of any dude that talk out of line to my mom let alone touch her.

  • this kid did da wrong ting, hes listening to his mum gettin licks while hes sitin on da roof tops, i was 5 when i started jumpin into help my mum. man i got a few kiks ova da years but i cudn listen to it, especially at his age, playin on his guitar he should beat the fuk out that dude. an he didn't. thats y it aint his mum cos u cudn put up wid ya mamas cries. u do something. and we did.

  • we should always think about our kids and leave with them, these man are nothing more than a cow or even worse a chicken, thanks for sharing this video.......

  • Brilliant.

  • No woman should be hit by a man no matter how bad the situation is or it goes the same to woman they should not abouse man as well.. peace and love.... solve problems with words not physical abuse...

that is not tolerated and eveyone who does it shoud be punushed.. if your a woman or a man you should not let no one control you insted call the police on them and you will be safe from all the abuse..

  • this was such a powerful short clip...wow...I loved it. My sister suffers from domestic violence....it's so sad. Jerks like these should all be locked up.

    thanks for posting this up.

  • @mennouse you made it sound like it was some kind of terminal illness. go help your sister.

  • thought provoking! 5 stars

  • I kike it... thx !!!! very good job !!!

  • very good

  • thank you for creating a something to put a stand up and help all other us who have been in and still are in these type of situations

  • So powerful

  • Good work - tough subject. Liked the sound mix. Some great shots. Good stuff

  • lacked a climax. but otherwise decent

  • I hope one day i will be able to make an touching short film like this,

    Diederick

  • Beautiful film. I see you are from Canada. Where was this shot? Check out some of my work.

  • very well directed - a lot of emotion conveyed on screen...well done

  • but i didn`t understand what they wanted to say

  • i enjoyed this video. it was almost voyerestic, like a peep show. i felt like i was the outsider looking in, and alot of that was to do with the camera angle, aided by the kids pov. got me thinking about the sterotypical roles/actions/consequences too, where the average man goes on about his day like nothing really happened and downs a few beers, whilst the woman is scorned for life doing really mundane things that never really take her mind of whats just happened.

    great work

  • average man ? i did not see beer?

  • Great work.

  • Great work. I was half expecting the standard 'Son attacks Dad to defend Mother' cliche. But music is so healing and powerful. Thank God for Hope, hey.

  • Nice film.

  • I think the pace could be a little faster, but the story is really nice and you're obviously a good director. Great acting. Hope to see more from you.

  • Hallway stuff is great

    Really nice music

    Pretty good film.

  • Beautiful sad and touch

  • Just watched your 1minute and was really impressed, I liked it better, but this is great too....great eye for visual.
