I decided to mute this video and play my own copy of Storybook Love (which, by the way, while composed by Mark Knopfler, is sung by Willy DeVille). Works quite well.

iv just started to watch series 1 again,iv got one,two and three on dvd,loved this show and bally k was a must watch at the time,would have loved to see Peter & Assumpta walk away together at the end of series 3,ill have to stop the dvd befor Assumpta goes down the cellar,iv just writen a song about them its called NEVER LET YOU GO,ill be posting it with a new film for all bally k fans to see,thanks for this film and great song,
Does anyone think we could petition Kieran Prenderville to rewrite the final two episodes of season three? Even he has commented that it wasn't the right way to go, he simply had time constraints. I think it would be a hit, and T.V history as well. Wishful thinking perhaps, but 10 years on and I still press stop before she goes down to the cellar... Thanks for the vid, I love it
@1212daisy12 That would be awesome, but unlikely to happen. :c( The guys who played Poraig Kelly and Brian Quigley are both dead, for one thing, not to mention Birdie Sweeney who played Eamon. But it would be cool... "Ballykissangel: The Alternate Ending to Season Three". Might be hard for Stephen and Dervla to recapture their feelings though, given they were engaged at the time and they've both moved on since, and acting is always better if there's real feeling behind it.
Didn't he say that he finished it this way because sending them away on a bus "is not" him? I'm talking about his interview that is on the dvds. If there is any chance that he could write another ending by petitioning, I'm in. I can even advertise for it. But does petitioning work in this case? S&D are skilled actors, I'm sure they can fool us even if they are not a couple in real life now ;) although, their real relationship helped a lot back then, they still can manage to drive us crazy :)
FANTASTIC!!! Sadly the finale of Season 3 is one of the most emotionally unsatisfying finishes of all time for a TV show....but this makes you think that just maybe.....great song too! Makes me want to watch the series all over again

Anytime a new video comes along it gets posted there. Plus it's also great to see more ballyk stuff being posted, what with new fans coming along and getting involved with the show.

Love BallyK like most I can't watch the bit in the celler to heartbreaking, although Peter looks sexy in the rain on the bridge :0)
