@radarroy thanks!!!! i just watched a video of the LI owning the ally......i dont no if the AL G9 will but it doesnt phase me yet they dont use the ally here in australia ...the biggest threat in oz are poliscan vt.... lti ultrlyte.... prolaser3 tru speed and trucam and its been nearly 2 years since i seen a radar threat

@PrismaMD Depends on the color of the sedan and size. If its a darker color the better but generally in any mid-sized sedan a Regular LI Dual is PLENTY. HP is for large trucks or SUV's.

The LI dual will work fine, you only need the HP version if you drive a large profile vehicle

If i get the cheapest one, the li dual, will that protect me from basic laser speed traps here in Michigan? I highly doubt they have the expensive Stalker or Laser Atlanta here, but since I started driving highways more, I've noticed that my current radar detector (Whistler XTR-475) has been picking up laser signals.

Also, what is the difference between the regular and high powered versions of this product, is it really worth it to get the high powered if I don't do too much driving?
