i know its a hillclimb supposedly i know of goodwood but not much abt it anyways a hill will make u slower but not that slow i mean wtf man coasting into corners and short shifting then missing ur shift then double clutching to downshift jesus wtf man if u can afford a $300,000 car and are gonna be usuing it for competition afford urself some driving lessons too or play a video game do something to do that car justice compared to what u just did

The critics should remember it is a narrow track, the weather wasn't great (although it looks dry in the video) and there are thousands of punters lining the road, separated only by hay bales.

Oh yeah, and it is a brand new Ferrari, one of 499, worth £170k or something...

He SHOULDN'T be attacking the corners like his life depended on it, because if he screws up, the consequences would be terrible.

I agree with lethe, and ejean, half these guys have never experienced an actual racing situation and haven't gone foot down into a corner (well maybe you have in gran turismo for PS3). You may think it's fun but it's pretty terrifying (at least if you do it right). And as for you calling him a bad driver...well you gotta start somewhere right? I'd rather learn in a 16M Scuderia than a 4 cylinder ricer with a coffee can.

Yeah, this isn't a pro F1 driver driving this car. No F1 driver will brake that early for a corner and nearly coast into it. Also, at the 20 second mark, he shifted up twice, then had to downshift back into gear. If an F1 driver did that, everyone would be saying "WTF!?" He really wasn't pushing this car into the corners or taking them as fast as the car could take them. Just someone who enjoys driving his Ferrari. Not a pro F1 driver.

Also, keep in mind how video and reality is always quite different in that video seems to look way slower than it felt behind the wheel.

I'd guarantee that most of the armchair experts would need new underwear if they were the passenger at the time of this run.

Well, the ones who can afford these cars arent always the ones who fancy driving perfection. Often its fat old men, probably why this guy was the fastest. I liked the video thou :-) good sense of speed from the camera position.
