Some people may laugh at the Backstreet Boys, but their laughs are out of ignorance. These guys have the ability to harmonize like no other band. And each is just as talented as the next. Together, they create magic with every song--and that is nothing to laugh at. Hopefully they will continue to create wonderful music.
No doubt AJ has the best voice, my opinion only. Too bad Kevin couldn't get along with him. The others seemed to be compassionate about AJs problems with substance abuse. They took a year's break to give him time to go through rehab and get his act together. Good for you, AJ! We're all proud of your courage and strength to turn your life around. Hang in there "one day at a time".
@mustangmom27- Kevin was the who actually cared the most... which is why he was like literally screaming at aj saying "get out of my life... i don't want anything to do with you"... kevin treats him as a younger brother. with kevin yelling at aj, aj thought... "you know what i really need to try to stop"
@mustangmom27 If he really cared about AJ and loved him like a younger brother, it seems he would have hung in there like the others and supported AJ through a very difficult time in his life. That's what most band members and best friends do for each other. My honest opinion is married life took precedence over anything else.
@mustangmom27- To show that he cared... Kevin never spoke to him since that day when he like broke A.J's bedroom door down..... friends do that. They sometimes show silence when really it's not silence... it was a hint to show that he really needed to stop all that crap that he was doing.
@MrsBrianLittrell1735 Ao AJ did get treatment, I would assume. Nine out of ten musicians carry alcohol/drug problems with them. It just goes along with the territory. Nick even has admitted to drinking too much. I admire the others that were there for AJ when he needed them. They took some time off so AJ could get his act together, which he looks better now than he ever did. My guess is there's more to the story than we know, such as just plain incompatibility and personality conflicts.
