@juajen2000 I do like Paula because she is always so honest. Hope he brings her back. Steve was OK & it took Ryan S. Severa years to fit in. Even Simon refused to talk to him when Drew left. Judges were extremely rude to him. Don't think anyone could have handled it Berger people falling to the floor geeeeze.

@marc5lake I agree. It does seem so effortless. He's my guy and until we can get more of him, I'll keep listening to what we have. Does anyone think that Paula will stay fired? Could Simon have been jealous of Josh? The girls stood up for him at every turn. I thought it was just that the guys still have contestants they were mentoring, but Simon is crazy about Paula. Perhaps Paula will just need to play a waiting game.

@juajen2000 I don't like that the mentors compete: it would seem to add more stress on the contestants who have to compete against each other. They should also let the accomplished musicians/seasoned performers like Josh pick all their own songs. I believe Josh lost due to unfortunate choices his mentor made for him. My rule of thumb in these shows is "Who would I PAY to hear?" and in this case Josh was the only one. I knew after hearing about three notes. His sound is addictive!

@juajen2000 I don't like the format of having the judges be mentors too. Makes for bias, IMO. The Idol way of having guest mentors from outside the show works better I think. Also, if the judges are hired & fired by another judge, that is another factor that affects the show's integrity. The important thing is that in spite of all that, the show still gives exposure to talent like Josh and we all benefit.
