@Ryfasol obviously you havnt played a lot on PC; if you did, you must known the difference about turn instantly, manage the inventory with point-click-mouse instead the slower rolling menu, you can compare an item right-clicking many times, you can target pointing exactly on the spellcaster among his minions, menus are faster, etc...

You corporate slaves took out offline SP and LAN, so you could milk us via your "great new" battlenet. Offline SP could have been separate from online and nothing bad would have happened. Now with their real money auction house, they are just going to milk the sheep. Since the D3 real money auction house will be anonymous, that means you can't know who placed an order and who bought it, what's to stop them from click-generating items and then selling them for real money?
I think one of the main reasons the have real money in Auctions is to go around a potenial inflation problem with the in game gold. As everybody knows gold isn't worth anything in Diablo 2. That's just my guess and I like the idea. Thanks for the video.

yeah ports everybody still remembers resident evil 4 on pc. it didnt even have mouse support, you had an fps game in which u used keyboard to aim and the quick time events in cut scenes showed the joystick buttons not the keyboard ones so you died like all the time until u memorized the buttons.
I think MOBA style PVP would give D3 a solid endgame. With freely interchangeable skills, there must be a depth possible that could appeal to a dedicated PVP scene like the MOBA players, that could be done without destroying casual pvp modes. It would add meaning to buying an Xpak with a few new chars and maybe an extra act every couple of years.
Just wait when everyone is playing TorchLight 2 like it is sliced bread, Diablo 3 players will feel utterly stupid fighting Chinese gold farmers for pennies while tweleve-year-olds run around flaunting the best gear.

When Starcraft 2 was in beta people were bitching that the automatic build system made the game basically play itself... it turns out, though, that Blizzard fluffed the game with other, more fun game systems. More complexity and other specifics of which to keep track.
Now its clear that SC2 is more complex and requires more skill than SC1. I am certain a similar change will occur in D3.

I hear your concern. Blizzard devs normally have an amazing ability to forget everything they know and build something good from the ground up. They're amazing at finding a perspective of total neutrality and honestly asking themselves if what they've made is good or not and changing it if its not.
Sometimes that leads them to radical changes over what they've decided on in the past. Sometimes radical changes are needed.
SC2 isn't a great example of radical changes, but good changes.
if they do implement a sidekicking system they need to make it so that one level always takes the same ammount of time otherwise the reward of sidekicking would not effect the one being downkicked to a lower level at all.

Yeah I can see blizzard making the games for the players. Because once you make an MMO all other types of games lose you money, but yet they made sc2 and d3 now. Really awesome. Not buying D3 now. Played D2 forever... I was really looking for competitive PvP. Like better than WoW arena and D2 end game. They killed that dream. Will just keep playing SC2 for my competitive fix and play Skyrim and SWTOR for my rpg fixes..... oh the potential D3 did have...

@Yarggify No it is not the same argument. Murder is not the systemic result of a service that has demand but is banned from the market place. Black markets being brought into the light is not the same as a murderer getting off with a fine. This gives blizzard an alternate revenue stream to keep Bnet running while not collecting subscription fees. Don't worry about how someone else spends their money or their game time and don't begrudge them for it either.
@AwesomeDG92 I think the biggest problem people have with the RMAH is that someone who has never played can be as geared as someone who has put in 200 or 300 hours game time just because they have a big bank account and are willing to spend it in game.

"DIABLO" (all in all, 1,2 & 3) are all about experiencing the world and the storyline with increasing difficulty, and then testing and creating awesome or unusual builds and see how they work and laying waste to demons with them, and then to try and get really good gear. and then added extra pvp if you want to. epic fail if you dont realize this.

It was only common in Diablo II because there was no stable currency. Hexes, white rings, SoJs, High Runes. Couple this with the amount of bots and duping exploits and the conditions become perfect. In Diablo 3 they could easily eliminate botting and make gold stable.

Yeah I can see blizzard making the games for the players. Because once you make an MMO all other types of games lose you money, but yet they made sc2 and d3 now. Really awesome. Blizz is pretty awesome. Real ID is cool too so i can play sc2 or D3 and talk to my buddies on wow or sc2 or d3. They do a pretty good job for being so big and spread out over many games. An d liek he said any game blizzard makes will bring in money because their games are just so great. Make it for the games & $ follows

I could imagine Diablo 3 on the Wii.
Spinning around to do a wirlwind as a barbarian - the wirlwind lasting as long as you maintain the spinning.
Waving your arms around drastically as a wizard casting spells.
Inventing a Wii Staff for the monk to strike nearby furniture and spectators.
Having to assume poor posture as a witch doctor.
And the demon hunter.... yeah... well.... yeah..

Not buying D3 now. Played D2 forever... I was really looking for competitive PvP. Like better than WoW arena and D2 end game. They killed that dream. Will just keep playing SC2 for my competitive fix and play Skyrim and SWTOR for my rpg fixes..... oh the potential D3 did have...

I don't like having people gain a competitive edge over me because they are willing to spend money on loot... Also the arguement, " well it's going to happen anyway so lets make a profit" is the same as saying "murder will happen anyway, lets make murderers pay for their actions." also in the 10 years blizz has existed, this very idea was shunned by them and the community. I'm still going to play the game ofc, but i don't approve of this idea. Even though blizz will make a huge profit from it.

@Yarggify No it is not the same argument. Murder is not the systemic result of a service that has demand but is banned from the market place. Black markets being brought into the light is not the same as a murderer getting off with a fine. This gives blizzard an alternate revenue stream to keep Bnet running while not collecting subscription fees. Don't worry about how someone else spends their money or their game time and don't begrudge them for it either.

@AwesomeDG92 I think the biggest problem people have with the RMAH is that someone who has never played can be as geared as someone who has put in 200 or 300 hours game time just because they have a big bank account and are willing to spend it in game.

"DIABLO" (all in all, 1,2 & 3) are all about experiencing the world and the storyline with increasing difficulty, and then testing and creating awesome or unusual builds and see how they work and laying waste to demons with them, and then to try and get really good gear. and then added extra pvp if you want to. epic fail if you dont realize this.

Would you rather have 3rd party websites that were, by the way, VERY popular in D2 make a return in D3 or.. would you rather have D3 with its own real time real currency free economy inside of the game already?
I never bought items in D2, because its not the safest thing to do, but it did anger me that players used it... so its a compromise but its worth it imo

It was only common in Diablo II because there was no stable currency. Hexes, white rings, SoJs, High Runes. Couple this with the amount of bots and duping exploits and the conditions become perfect. In Diablo 3 they could easily eliminate botting and make gold stable.
