Nope. Poor Gio had just been the victim of 2 relegations in the space of 3 years.

He was the star of a terrible City side, and he deserved much better.

Kinkladze makes me split inside. I loved his playing style but he was 1 of the main reasons that we went out of the premier league. His work rate was 0% defensively and our attack was 100% kinkladze =opposing teams hade it easy to shut us down.

If there is one player in the last 15 years I wish that Liverpool would have signed, it was Kinkladze. I think he would have fit the team and spirit (until Houillier - GH would've ruined him). A team with him, Fowler, McManaman, Redknapp... Kinky was one of my fave players and Joe Royle was an egotistical tosser for ruining him. Great video, by the way!!

Thats because you should build a team around class and not expect it to get you out of the S*** we you ask it to. We had good championship managers but they were'nt any better than that. As for Franny who in there right mind sells the spine of a team who would have got us back e.g
