  • it was in johnston,sc a whole month ago on oct 20 2009 this was uploaded on nov 20 2009

  • there is another video of the same 1 except it is in johnston,sc

  • Alright guys... There was a mistake... That was supposed to be taken to Washington state.... Get a move on it.

  • thumbs up , see my video response

  • i started off watching 2 lions and a dog live together and some how ended up here 0_0

  • Tire count 144.

  • how do they move the trailer sections once while its not being used?

  • Well I guess if it weren't for the federal bridge formula law there would only be four wheels under it. HAHAHAHA!

  • In the last video is was 1.9 million pounds, Now it's 2.5.....Oh my how things grow in transit!

  • What can brown do for you? lol

  • why tha fuck u need a generator that big ? u gona power mother earth dildo ?

  • @xHATEDxGhOsT Duke Energy got a deal on it.

  • what happens if someone puts tacks under the trailer?

  • 3000 wheels and a dozen roses!

  • Where is the pride in an imported generator???????? How many Americans were put out of work by importing this THING???? What's wrong with everybody...taking PRIDE in Americans losing their jobs....taking PRIDE in America losing their status in the world ! ! !

  • @JetMechMA I don't disagre that we need to make our own toys and stop importing, however, look at all the jobs that were created in order to move this monster. I'm tired of imports as well but try looking on the brighter side.

  • @awiechelt FUCK the brighter side....God damn it...America is half dead now because of outsourcing. FUCK IMPORTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You people have no BALLS ! ! ! ! !1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love the little generator on the back

  • If we could see this from a birds eye view it'll probably just be like ants moving a doughnut

  • Where's Lou Feregno when you need him??

  • @Godskid66 Now there's a name i have'nt heard in years. :)

  • 0:36 is that an office chair?? ROFL!

  • good luck finding a parking spot

  • It would probably take an act of God to get it unstuck from grass

  • For the price, could have added a marching band and majorettes.

  • DOT requires all that you see and think is stupid for something this big. signs lights the whole lot.

  • wat would happen if they hit a bump??

  • Guy in first truck: Dammit, theres a crash..... U turn!

  • i wont say its that big and is the " oversize load " really nessary ? :P

  • Employees: we gonna need some BADDASS truck for this!!!

Truck: (looks at the load) HOLY S#!T!!! I'm only giving 1 mile per gallon for this....

  • (Rich voice) Yes but how many miles per gallon does it get?

  • This truck makes wide turns.

  • damn how do you change a flat tire?

  • get stuck behind that fml

  • too heavy for a barge? whoud be easier that way.

  • 2 turn tables and a microphone

  • would suck if he gets a flat......ok people we need about 100 jacks and it will be an hour before we know which wheel has a flat.

  • @hhds113 FYI . . . they actually had to take the wheels off at night so they wouldn't get a flat due to the weight.

  • @hhds113 Dude you would have to take every thing off the trailer to air it up a jack wouldnt do it so it be like a day to air up/fix 1 tire

  • @tinygerm1 I stand corrected if I,m wrong. Ive driven 18 wheelers but never haul oversize loads. But considering that I was a mechanic I was to say this: I notice your comment about-- " you would have to take every thing off the trailer to air it up a jack wouldnt do it so it be like a day to air up/fix 1 tire"-- I dont thing thats necessary. Knowing that trailer has a suspension system. Its is possible to change one tire as long as you have the right jack. U just need to lift one axle.

  • I like the guy at the end just sitting at the end of the trailer waving likes it's a parade.

  • That's just my pizza delivery coming through.

  • I wonder what happens when one of the tires goes flat...

  • chuck norris can do that...while eating at mcdonals

  • so how would you go about telling DOT that youre doing this.....

  • shit, be faster to fabricate the damn thing on site.

  • @ShuRugal1 yes but it would take more work and you would spend more money because you would then have to ship all the parts there then tools and the specialists needed to build it so all in all this is the easiest and cheapest way

  • That's Chuck Norris's dumbbell.

  • 4800000000 lbs! omg

  • this went by my house and water shot up out of everythang in my house i got crap every where

  • lol. How in the heck would you call for a flat. "Thank you for calling Roadside assistance My name is Peggy. Are you in a safe location?" "Kinda" " Ok sir what can I do for you today" "I have a flat" "Oh I'm sorry to hear that" "Can you tell me the Year make and model of your vehicle" "its actually on my trailer" "Oh ok sir" " What kind of trailer is it" "Umm A special one" "can you describe it to me" " well total we have I'd say around 200 tires and one just popped"

  • "HOLD UP! WAIT! STOP! WE MADE A WRONG TURN! BACK UP!"

  • Charlie Sheen's cocaine delivery.

  • You also have men sitting on outrigger seats at all 4 corners to manage the towing unit

  • Bill: Gawd dangit Earl! we done missed our turn!

Earl: welll shiiiit! we'ze just gotta turn arounds and the the next liqour store!

  • @DarthShrek next lqour store my ass... might be easier to just keep going straight and try it again

    lol

  • ever thought of trying to use less energy?

  • my Taco can tow that no problem, who needs 4 mac trucks

  • I bet there is homeless guy in there somewhere....

  • Wonder if they stopped @ 7-11 for gas?

  • What the hell... Is this generator weights 11.3mln tons? :O

  • I want the guys job at 1:45 :-) "HI MOM!!"

  • Looks like a fucken parade moving down the road.

  • my dad could lift this with his bare hands!

  • How many gallons to the mile does it do?

  • @TheK9Charlie most likely around 8 per minute

  • Chuck Norris carried it from the boat to the truck

  • F-in' HUGE......Wow, thanks for sharing!

  • tire 945 looked a little low to me.

  • Chuck Norris got one in his back yard

  • Will it blend?

  • Comment removed

  • 0 to 60 in 1.3 days.

  • They should fly it in by helicopter.

  • Once again we buy foreign shit that we can't build anymore like the old days when everything was built to last. Sad to see we can't build much anything anymore.

  • Accually its 1.9m lb...

  • 1.9 million lbs! thats 861 tons!

  • @zync0000 Uhh, a ton is 2,000lb

    1.9mil pounds is 950 tons

  • @junekentucky Uhh, a ton is only 2000 lbs if you are in the US. Anywhere else in the world, its 2240 lbs. Perhaps you forgot that Britain set the standard for measurements worldwide. Americans are such troublemakers.

  • @tjhombs Since this took place IN the United States, you should be using the local definition of a Ton.

BTW, doesn't britain use metric measurements? US doesn't which means that Britain didn't set the standard "worldwide" now, did it?

  • @junekentucky Since the unit was built in Tokyo, international units are more appropriate.

  • @junekentucky Besides, your comment was that a ton is a specified number of lbs., which is not entirely true. Disagreeing with someone like that just shows your arrogant ignorance.

  • @tjhombs HA, you're the one calling names, first post called me (us) troublemakers, now you're calling me ignorant and arrogant when I'm just stating facts.

Fact:This took place in US where a ton is 2000 pounds

Fact:Someone (probably in another country) mistakenly posted incorrect information which I tried to correct (without calling names, you'll notice)

Please stop getting upset and calling names on the internet, it's a waste of time... and so is responding to people who call names.

  • @junekentucky Transportation provided by Mammoet. US Corporate Office website: "All Weight and Capacity are in metric tonnes." So how many pounds was that again?

  • @tjhombs HAHHA, stating facts not entered as evidence ^_^

Oh wait, that was a company name on the side of that truck? You really want to win, don't you. I missed it completely, reading the description which said pounds.

  • @junekentucky Further, if you want to use metric tons, then OK. That is 2204.62 lbs., which makes you wrong yet again.

  • @tjhombs *Sigh*, metric as in grams, kilograms and such stuff, not pounds. The description is in pounds, not kilograms and the video took place in the US where pounds are used so using the 2000 pound ton is indicated. Not the metric ton.

  • @junekentucky *In response to your "BTW"

Imperial units and the US customary units derive from earlier English units. The majority of the British Commonwealth and the former British Empire used Imperial, but later most of the commonwealth countries adopted the metric system.

I'm pretty sure that some parts of the US use the metric system too.

  • So which is it? the other video of it says 1.9 million Lbs?

  • Dammit! I had the map upside down! How the heck do we turn this thing around?

  • Kid 1:Hey...i dare you to run under it!!!

    Kid 2: ok!!!

Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump Bump...

  • @MrDemonman7 LMFAO

  • Could they not just post it?

  • they're goin slow as hell

  • @ROFLPS3suckz

    u r dumbass

  • Tyre pressure checks must be a bitch!

  • They need to slow down!

  • Two of those were moved for TVA in East TN. Weighed over one million pounds.

  • lol guy lounging on the back waving like its a parade

  • imagin a transformer being that big.

  • man, they r hauling!!

  • better video of it is the ' 1.9 million lb generator moved by Mammoet" in the daylight, pretty awesome, seems even the though the weight is distributed over such a wide area , seems at that weight it would still juts cruch that road into bits... awesome video

  • How do they pick that up??

  • @lovesoft1

they use cranes in their factory to life and assemble each individual parts directly onto the two platforms with wheels and the yellow bridge look-alike thingy~ then they pull-push the whole thing on the wheels~

  • im thumbing this video up so i can see the awesome commentaries xD ill be lulzing all night!

  • Two words to describe it: Holy S***

  • If they have a flat they would need two more Trucks and a 250 tire trailer to load the jack.

  • I wonder how much it cost just to move it?

  • The biggest object i ever moved, was your mom off my dick!!!

  • Then you get some rookie state D.O.T officer screamin' that it MUST cross his scale, he doesn't care what the permit says....."driver, back up to the 14th axle, I didn't get that one" ha ha ha.... That's awsome stuff !!!! Great Video.

  • 1.9 million lbs

  • how much does it weigh?

  • I counted 577 wheels

  • how do you do a U turn in this thing lol

  • its a good thing they got the lights flashing. just incase someone missed it. lol

  • @dodgecummisn2500

Incase if you can't stop just smile while going under!!!Lolz

  • @dodgecummisn2500 Sadly because it's in America, someone would still hit it. Flashing lights dont mean thing, when you have a cellphone. Cant tell you how close i come to being hit ever day when i have my flashers on, even at nite.

  • @Darkmatter2134 Im from canada. There isnt even cellphones here yet so we dont have that problem

  • @dodgecummisn2500 Sad part, if there wasn't flashing lights and just lights, someone would run into it saying that they couldn't see it..

  • @dodgecummisn2500 lol if someone missed that spot light on it they must be blind

  • thats right. that guy controls the steering of the trailer.

  • WHAT IS THE GUY DOING UP FRONT OF THE TRAILER ON THE CORNER

  • @tazzman105 steering i think

  • @tazzman105 checking for flat wheels....lol

  • Looks more than 14ft wide but the video may make it look differant. Either way this is a big sucker.

  • ITS NOT A GENERATOR. ITS CARRYING THE THE US DEPTH. SO HEAVY IT COULD FALL THROUGH THE EARTH AND REACH NEW ZEALAND.

  • @rutlandplace so, how in the hell are they moving it?

  • @rutlandplace Debt*

  • @rutlandplace

    D E B T

You are a good example of what is truly wrong in America.

  • That's definitely a "Convoi Exceptionel" :D.

    Cool video.

  • It's not really that big, the actual generator is only a small fraction, size-wise, of the whole framework used. It's just very heavy, hence the need for a long framework (the orange metal thing) so its load can be spread across as many wheels as possible (otherwise it would just crush the road underneath it) via 2 'turn-table' platforms which make it easier to negotiate turns.

  • @ReverendBrownbuttock hey thanks for the info!!!!

  • @ReverendBrownbuttock no one asked for your life story, chill the hell out

  • @TheBikefish 39 people so far appreciated the info I provided nonetheless.

  • surprised it would move that fast, one big chunk of metal

  • @KasparWise once it got momentum it would go suprisingly fast. How good is the job sitting on the side!
