It's all a matter of opinion. Most like the look of the fat PS3 more. Also the 4 usb ports are nice also.

Some like the more convenient size of the Slim and some like the matte finish.

Personally I like the Slim more because it works better for me. The only thing I wish I had was the 2 more USB ports. Other then that, there really isn't much difference in either system besides size and power usage.

hey i have the regular ps3. i was thinkin of getting this. have you played all day yet? cuz im kinda worried about it because it looks like it might over heat more.

I've played for about 7 or 8 hours straight and I've had no problems. The top gets kind of warm but in my opinion the system doesn't get hot.

It's actually made to prevent it from overheating. I haven't compared it with an older PS3 yet, but I think it's fine for those long gaming sessions.

but generally even though i have a phat ps3 i agree that ps3 slim seems better..

but tthe shiny factor could be a downfall aswell. Becuase of the fingerprints. And if not properly cleaned can cause scratches. the 4 usb ports is nice but that model is esaier to overheat and break.

thats not a ***** dualshock 3 look at the top of the controller its meant to say dualshock 3 and sixaxsix 0:51 and i heard rumors that ps3 slim doesnt come with dualshock3

It really depends on what you prefer. The fatty system looks better but gets dirtier easier and has two more USB ports.

The slim has the matte finish and 40gb more hdd space. I bought the slim for the hdd space, even though it can be upgraded. I like the Slim a lot.

I agree that the bigger PS3 looks much nicer but I really didn't have room for it. I barely had room for the Slim so a bigger PS3 wasn't going to cut it. They are nice though.

I'm enjoying the Slim though.

I simply save up my Gamestop credit. I had around $115 that I used towards the purchase. Same thing I did with my LE RE Xbox 360 Elite Bundle.

It's pretty nice and looks much better then I originally thought. The gloss on the area where the power button is located is a nice touch also.

I watched a two hour movie on the system and it ran cool the whole time. Also it is very quiet. I couldn't hear it at all during it's operation. We'll see how it fares after a 6 hour gaming session.

It's a great bundle and hopefully I have no problems with it in the future.

Hope you end up getting one because it's a great system.
