@dapa1871 It's noisy because of the grinders, and people also invariably drop metal which tends to be loud. I'd suggest keeping one of those foam plugs that go in your ear in your good ear and then when you are doing something noisy or when some one else is doing something noisy put on the muffs. Or just wear the ear bud ones all the time because the muffs never work well with welding visors.
