It's not JUST a philipino or immigrant problem. I am born and raised in USA and am white and getting treated the same way by my employers in assisted living. If you complain about your treatment with wages or your stress load you get written up or fired and if you have to pay bills you put up with the abuse just to live. No one speaks out or wants to hear about our abuse as caregivers. In california there is no bill of rights for us :(
