I read you can talk him into giving you the horns willingly. If you don't look threatening you can chat with him and get the horns..but he still attacks you afterwards

The horns will only drop for a female, but they HAVE to do a CRITICAL counter, then his eyes will turn black/red and his wings will get big, but when that happenes he gets a power boost. You kill him after that to get the horns.

It only drops horns if you piss it off. Piss it off by repeatedly crit knocking it back or countering it.

You can tell when its pissed off because its wings get bigger, and its health like triples.

You can. Go to your Mabinogi folder, and then the mp3 folder. The name should be "cutscene01".

Yeah the only way you can get horns is if you keep countering him, until his wings get big and his eyes change colors, and then you kill him to get the horns.

You don't need a certain level to be able to solo. Just bring a lot of HP potions (notice my potion poisoning? :P) I would recommend having high ranked windmill though.

Btw, there's a trick for getting him to drop the horns, he wont just drop them at random. I think you can find the instructions on Mabi's main forum, but I know it involves getting him angry, and his wings growing big before you finish him off. <.<

Yeah, I've been aware of that for a while now.

Firstly, you have to be a female. Then you have to perform a Critical Hit with Counterattack for his horns and wings to get large and guarantee that he'll drop his horns when you kill him. Similar to how you have to perform a Critical Hit with Smash on a Siren for her to drop her mask.

Just kidding. :P That is an excellent observation. :D I didn't even notice it. It was because when I first tried to film it, I accidentally stopped recording in the middle of the fight, and the second time, I accidentally had fraps set to not recording the music.

So I basically combined both. The cut-scene with sound from the first attempt, and the full fight scene (without sound) from the second attempt.
