Gears Of War 2 Unreal graphics engine exclusively on Xbox360

I was dissapointed with GoW 2's graphics. Im not sure why, but after not playing the game for a while, and then playing it again, there were a lot of bugs and texture issues I had just started to notice.

NONE of this showed up in the final build of gears, only thing from the video that was in the game was the water, i was really excited about the meat cube and the way you could shoot in the environment and put holes in the floor

Actually, NONE do. Look at Turok, Mirror's Edge, Bioshock, and the five new games EA is coming out with. NOTHING like Gears, and they know the engine is unstoppable so they've switched to the better engine.

It seems like the word 'fanboy' is thrown around a lot these days when somebody states their opinion.

That and a random stranger calling me an idiot has really dissuaded me from commenting on anything relating to video games now-adays.

I agree. But when you state an opinion - a WRONG opinion (the thing about the game critics) - I can't help but get pissed off. And I couldn't help but point out how different all those Unreal 3 games look. The only reason Unreal Tournament looks like Gears is because they were both made by Epic games.

You seem like the rational type, though, so I apologize for what I've said.

Unreal Engine still crushes anything done in the past. Muahahahahaha.....

maybe you're talking about epic games. yes alot of their games with unreal engine 3 look alike. but not games by other companies. DICE made mirrors edge using the engine and it looks NOTHING like gears of war. Bioshock doesn't look anything like it either, medal of honor airborne doesn't either. maybe you should have looked up a little more info before typing anything.
