this reminds the time i went fishing and my friend gave some liquid LSD on my eyes one drop in each in 18 minutes i was tripping balls lol watching face formation in the clouds..I saw weird trianle shape lights i felt numb from the mouth down it fel like i had no face or nose then the boat felt like rubber lol i smoked weed and calm down but the faces in the cloud where still watching me it was jesus face lol im high right now nevermind relax people relax.....u never saw this relax.........
Man I listened to your songs,......and I have to say something,..........YOURE A GENIOUS!!!!I love the song remember, and you should keep doing tracks I will support you!!!
Wow. You seem to have quite vast knowledge of a lot of these artists. I have a few that you've mentioned. Like Vollenweider. I just love his work. But my fave is John Serrie.
I rather like studying to this kind of music. It keeps my kinda lunatic mind satisfied while I study for an exam that starts in an hour and a half at 6:30 in the morning.
Ambient music is simply an extension-continuation of New Age music.
This selection seems to fall better, under the category of Space Music (which has been around for half-a-century!) Those of you venturing in this direction will find a whole new musical universe, filled with many pleasant surprises!
I stand corrected, I had forgotten about the Eno album titled 'Ambient 1: Music for Airports' (1978)
Btw, 'Ambient' has its roots far earlier, to around the turn of century (19th to 20th, that is...) to Erik Satie & his 'Musique d'ameublement' (Furniture Music.)
Thanks for the correction :)
Soundtracks which could be added to this category as well, are Mark Isham's 'Film Music' & 'Tibet.'
Those who like this type of music should try: Steven Halpern, Jonn Serrie, Ray Lynch, Vangelis, Michael Stearns, Sigur Ros, Brian Eno, Robert Rich, Kevin Braheny, Klaus Schulze, Tomita, Tangerine Dream, Andreas Vollenweider, Constance Demby, Omega, Geodesium, Steve Roach, etc.
Please note that above musicians are but a small selection among many & their styles vary a bit. While Vangelis, Kevin Braheny, Jonn Serrie, Michael Stearns & Steve Roach would better please those who like this particular selection; Andreas Vollenweider may better please those who prefer a more traditional, acoustic approach.
By the way, those of you wanting something very special should seek-out musical selections originally offered by an NPR (radio) show/series titled: "From the Hearts of Space." There're many years (decades?) worth of selections out there & will be a real "treat" for those of you just discovering this genre.

"New Age" music is an extension of Ambient. Ambient pre-dates the term "New Age." Brian Eno is a major pioneer of Ambient.
