you change the player in the arena by changing your favourite team on your settings and itl choose the player with highest stats or when your playing a match then pick the team your fav player plays forand hopefully it will automatically pick that player

just search for roberto carlos super curve on here someone has a vid of him curling a crazy free kick it can be done. Alot of the time you have to sacrifice power for the curl on the ball because of the sweet spot when kicking it's more of a slice than a driven shot.

curling a ball is not impossible i can do it in real life and i agree that all tho they hav not perfected the curling system on fifa them types of shots are possible i have posted a few shots like tht in the net few times but its hard it is also possible to swivel the ball thats an illusion of a double curl but you need fairly strong winds tho you cant do that on fifa 09 and fifa 09 lacks the amount of actual power you can get behind the ball
