I'd have loved to have seen all the Asterix books turned into cartoon films. Unfortuantly, Goscinny and Uderzo were unhappy with the result of this film and so stopped production on the 2nd Asterix book adaption. Instead they worked on the film Asterix and Cleopatra, which, although fun, wasn't as faithful to the original story.
