My favorite thing is how the game makes you feel like your Artyom and you are going through his story. Don't get me wrong, The Stalker series is good, but feel to much like a game with all HUD elements: The radar, health, hunger and radiation bars, all the ammo types, but the killer is the engine. It looks to cartoony. Yes it uses DX 11, but otherwise it almost looks cell-shaded, like TF2. I think that Metro 2033 is like Crysis 1, it is one of those games that changes the meaning of a genre.

@yugiohkid7 If you are only with it for the graphical look then in my books you must go away. Who cares if it looks cartooney or not? If you really want a cartooney look then look at Borderlands. It's a comic looking game. Metro and Stalker remind me of the good old days when FFVII had just come out and was the top on the RPG franchise.

@megamanangel First off, graving-digging is for 8 year olds. Ponder this: Take Metro 2033 and C.o.P, S.o.C or Clear Sky, everything maxed out. Stock, Metro Kicks its ass hands down, and that what I'm saying. With the Stalker series, you install it, run it once and then install the Stalker Complete mod for your game. Then your Stalker game will fucking murder Metro 2033. Before you spew shit onto the internet, do some research so you don't look like a fucking retard.

Sure the mod enhances graphs and such but it is for far mroe than just htat. Who cares about graphs if the gameplay is good? Graphs is just a bonus. Back when there were Text RPG's about post apocalyptia people didn't give a damn about no graphs. Do some research cunt.

At the time of publishing and release of S.o.C, the engine, X-ray, was still in essence a beta. The full potential of the engine wasn't fully utilized until the mods came around. Also, learn to spell kid.

Anyways not to be a grammar nazi the game was ment to look rugged because that's what the best graphs looked like with that engine at that time. You think post apocalyptia is supposed to look all prim and dandy like let's say a carnival? Mods are for fun if people don't find the game itself to be playable. I grave dig if I want.

And Soundtrack is Amazing. no one didnt make this kind of game. @Zauten It's been revealed that they're working on it. Apparently the game was super cheap to make (Didn't seem like it though) so they actually made a good amount of cash on 2033 even though it only sold about average.

@Karaksonen yeah, the sneaking system needed tweeking, but if you just REALLY watched your step and used the throwing knives (as well as buying the sneaking quit), you could do it without too much trouble
