Always did this since I got my PS2, 5 years ago. It's way easier than hacking the game. Sure, the quality is different, but you won't be running any risks about breaking the console.

This trick works on any wii game. For exemple, I tried with brawl, Bully and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 putting Metallica Music in the background and it works :D

there is another way,just load the game then start it,then go to options(like the first way)then go to sounds.then slide the bar until sound effects are max.then go to brawl,choose anyone you like to be and fight.before you select a stage remove the 2 sound cables for wii and put your dvd sound cables,then insert your cd.but your NOT going to look at the screen.now press play and put the stage you want then voilla!

This only works if you want it to be mono and if you have a certain type of setup (mainly a tv that outputs your stereo signal through one speaker). And if you're only doing this to do audio you can buy a cheaper RCA to 1/8" jack audio cable (which is still too much since you're only running a mono signal with a stereo signal).

@Perfectedidiot21 all it needs is the audio/headphone hole, but you will need to get the cable that he used in the video, I personally use an Audio RCA to Microstereo jack cable, which is like his ipod A/V cable, but it doesn't have the yellow one. basically how it works is, the sound is split in 2 channels, left(white) and right(red), when he takes off the red, and puts in his jack, he's taking out the right side audio and puttiing in his which is his music input.

@holyfuck444 All you need is a cable with the red and white parts, the yellow isn't neccessary, actually if you can find a mono cable where it's only the headphone mini stereo jack with the white or red audio jack on the other end, this would work to. How this works is, the sound for the game is in stereo, 2 channels.Left(white) and Right(red), when he takes out the red cable, and puts in his, he's putting his music in for the right sound channel. Volume is controlled via mp3 player.

@holyfuck444 Also to note, the reason why his results are good in the video is because unlike many cheaper mp3 players, the iPod, not sure about the shuffle though, but the regular ones have an internal amplifier, which means, you can get a much better and louder output signal, while most regular mp3 players(I have a creative zen v) only have a standard sound out module and no amplification goes on with that. If you don't have an iPod, go find a Headphone Amplifier, uses battieries btw.

@kingof1337ness It only is hard depending on which way you put it. This way it can sound choppy do to you putting it in the left or right (unless your tv is mono then you win) Or you can hack Brawl and replace the song file with another one.

If your looking for music hacks, then search "ssbb music hacks." Search for masterlinks(<==Not spelled that way) he has a pack you can download, and if you want textures he has that to. make sure you have Winrar too. extract the rar files to that.(just right click and choose extract here, it should have a stack of books as an icon.) Hope this helps. reply if it did.
