  • yes dough became quite loose after keeping it for 7-8 hrs. so it was not properly rolled. shud it be rolled into thin puris? oil was hot as for puris.

  • it should roll out medium... not too thin (like Papad) or not too thick (like parathas)... and imp is it should roll out evenly...

  • i tried ur bhatura recipe but though bhaturas were sot n good to eat, they didnt puff up. also they lacked typical eastic n stretchy texture of bhatura as in restaurants. plz suggest somethng

  • might be dough is loose... to puff properly it should roll out evenly... and checkout oil temprature too...

  • A lot of people suggest pressure-cooking the chick peas with tea leaves (regular CTC, not green) tied in a cloth. You ought to try that sometime.
