yes dough became quite loose after keeping it for 7-8 hrs. so it was not properly rolled. shud it be rolled into thin puris? oil was hot as for puris.
i tried ur bhatura recipe but though bhaturas were sot n good to eat, they didnt puff up. also they lacked typical eastic n stretchy texture of bhatura as in restaurants. plz suggest somethng

it should roll out medium... not too thin (like Papad) or not too thick (like parathas)... and imp is it should roll out evenly...

might be dough is loose... to puff properly it should roll out evenly... and checkout oil temprature too...

A lot of people suggest pressure-cooking the chick peas with tea leaves (regular CTC, not green) tied in a cloth. You ought to try that sometime.
