I've been in a pretty nasty crash racing karts an your basiclly running on adrenaline so when your in a wreck/flip you tend to get up pretty quick then realize your actually hurt quite bad. Im sure he was knocked out for a second.

there are some situation that doesn't require a red flag, as it is being assessed by the clerk of the course through the Marshalls. if he is need of an ambulance it will be red flagged.....that is why there are race officials...and mind you these races are observed by cik stewards also.

@bullzisnipr3 Well, he did land on his head. With the adrenalin and all, he might've just gotten up and jogged over to where he could be tended to. As it was, they loaded him onto the stretcher because you probably couldn't tell if you'd been more serverely injured in such a crash until the next day (head or neck injuries).
