The only thing I have a problem with is that he says "graffiti will ruin your life." No, it won't. It has potential to but its not guaranteed to fuck you over. I've been busted for this stuff, gone to jail the whole bit. And now I've been recommended to an urban arts program where I just paint more and create more art. So in a way, getting in trouble for it sometimes has positive consequences. You just gotta look for the good in everything. Its there.
Man, graffiti isn't about the fame in all cases, it's about the whole culture, meeting new friends and having something that is special to you, whether it murals for youth projects, tagging to get up, stenciling words or pictures like banksy, or making stickers to raise awareness of global events. I know what you mean a lot of the ones around my way act like they are a big shot. The truth is for me i use to be an extremely quite nervous child, i then i found a way to create an alter ego which in turn made me in my day to day a lot more confident i owe my life to this.

graff has definitely ruined some lives, some kids are dead bc of it. its a case to case basis... that shit inspired the fuck out of me as a ten year old kid in the late 80s...made me an explorer and gave me a goal as an artist before i was even out of elementry school. now im stacking that chedda mccheez. still answering to no one. basically its what you make it. also almost all my friends are writers and many good times.... the drugs are real, the violence is real, the hate is real... rip kid

ok dude i have seen a lot of friends get locked up for a long time because they did nothing but tag. Art is great dont get me wrong, but is it worth your friends and freedom? He is obviously over the politics of the game and is ready to move on and start using his art to make himself happy not others. Man, I'll be laughing my head off how all of these tools set themselves up and make it nice and easy for their local police authorities to track them down, you've cut their work and search labor by 80%. I write and I'm trying to get up as well but never, never,even if I were a teenager would I ever fucking expose myself the way these tools have. Ha ha ha Toy or veteran....I'd never do it. most small cities can only charge/convict you of the thing they caught you doing/saw u doing. if you were doing something a week ago across town and you just wrote the same name the time they caught u doesnt mean you did the one across town. so they cant charge you with it.
