Julie - thank you for sharing your thoughts as a professional artist. I took an online class from you (and Chris). Your videos are super hi - resolution quality and YES, you or Chris ALWAYS answer any question a student has... It's a wonderful online experience and art community. I also took another online class from someone else (not a professional artist) - horrible video quality, poor instruction, very unproffesional. No comparison to your quality. My mistake, lesson learned. Thanks.
Online classes are the way to go with our busy lifestyles these days! I sign up for Julie and Chris's classes and can work on them at my own pace with the same attention a month (or more) later as I did the first day I signed up!
Julie.. I was just telling 2 or my friends about your workshops with Chris and how wonderful they are and once you join that workshop, you have access forever. My friend was telling me about an online workshop she took for $125 (more towards jewelry) AND the videos would stop at a certain date and if you wanted extra time you had to pay $35. Horrible. What you and Chris do is professional and very classy. That is why you have 2100 students. I always say.. you get what you give.
I hear what your saying. I am an Art educator too. Spent seven years getting a MA degree and its a bit odd that anyone feels they are equipped to teach art. Its great that they have the confidence but there should be some sort of criteria involved so it doesnt simply slap us in the face. Glad to see your showing what professionalism really is.
