There were some serious episodes scattered here and there but this just looks like a completely different show

Everything in this AMV is from the Galaxy Angel game series for the ps2. That's why everything is so serious.

@kohm100 This is the game series which takes place in an alternate universe. What you're seeing here is cut scenes from the three games. The anime was a comedy spinoff of this series (what's funny about that though is the anime came out first).
