@MrArcadia2009 The version with lyrics was made long before FLCL. The instrumental version was made just for the anime, just like... I think it was Carnival? And whichever song was used as atmosk's theme (can't remember that either, not a huge Pillows expert). They didn't add lyrics after the anime, they subtracted them during it. The FLCL soundtrack is in three volumes, and the instrumental version and this version both appear on the soundtrack, but in separate volumes.

@Kennisiou yeah, gainaz basically asked the pillows if they could license all of their music up until that point for flcl, so some songs, they just used the instrumentals, like this song and carnival.
