  • awesome chase love it

  • Excellent ! Love the closeups too. 5*

  • Thanks.

  • Yes, I agree as the engines look squashed

  • Yes, I used the wrong ratio for the camera setting. I may re-upload it again in 4:3 sometime this summer when I have time.

  • Theres something odd about this video.

Look at the wheels between 2:04 and 2:11.

They dont look circular but oval!

And the shape of the engines is strange on the whole.

I think the video was taken as wide screen and than converted to 4:3

    Apart from this great video!

  • Yes, this was shot in in 16:9 and made into a 4:3 video by accident. I didn't know it was set on 16:9 in the first place, so that is what messed it all up. I plan to reupload these this summer all in 4:3.

  • someone can tell what type of engines leads ? 3 and 4 are dash 8 40 CW ? please help me its so hard to identify american engines :( but they look strong :D and are very nice looking

  • @danisim9 The lead locomotive is a General Electric AC4400CW. Union Pacific refers it as a AC44CW-CTE. These engines, along with the ex-CNW, ex-SP, original UP AC4400CWs and UP's new ES4400CWs and ES4500CWs are called 'AC4400CCTEs'

  • Awesome vid bro!

  • Wow, awesome pacing video-- I liked how you had some really great closeups of parts of the lead engine thrown in there!! And, super how you let the entire train pull on ahead at the end so we could see what a monster train it was. This had to be "the most photographed freight" that day, LoL!! REALLY great video, super hard-core (as one of our friends would say)!!!

  • Thanks Larry, this guy really just poped out of nowhere!

  • Dude just prior to heading off to work this morning I gave you a video response with the vid that I shot of this train on the loop.

  • Ok, thanks.

  • Dude I should have called your cell when I saw this thing on the loop to let you know it was comeing, dang!

  • Would have bee nice! lol.

  • Did any other youtubers on the loop or any where else call you to let you know about this or did you catch this at total randum?

  • Driving on this road opposite direction...

    O CRAP

    true around

lol, no heads up. He just came into veiw AT SPEED.

  • DANG!!

  • Dude you did a full chase of the thing!! Hard core to the bone! 5 stars!

  • VERY NICE JOB! just to let you know, that is UP 5564, not 5546

  • Thanks Brian, you have no idea how much the number has been screwing me up lol.

  • I saw this one go by my house in Manteca.

  • Nice.

  • Thats so funny how that same train was seen by so many people that day!!!! LOL and we all said it was huge!! lol great shot btw!

  • Thanks Nate, post a vid response if you want.

  • that was sweet..very long....haha

  • Thanks.

  • Very cool! It's always a rush to pace a train. And wow, that lead unit (5564) could use a wash. :p

  • Thanks, it was easy to catch too. We were scouting out places to see #14, then this guy poped up.

  • What a beauty!

  • Thanks JP, you get the Starlgihts yesterday?
