I saw the Monkees back in the 90's, on their tour for the first time, in Biloxi Miss. They did a great job. I loved them since the 60's. I'm happy for them that they still are together doing what they love.
Still love the song after all these years, just wish I could hear Mike doing his background vocals which were spectacular on the original recording....
I can't help but notice that the drummer is playing a Ludwig 'Fab Four' kit. Love it; I play the same one, have for about a decade. This song is without a doubt one of the Monkees' masterpieces and it's great to see it played so well by them in the latter days. Good show, lads!
Good to see Mickey / Davy on Guitars and Peter on Keyboards. They all play on the original 1967 track of this song. Peter's harpsichord part and playing on the original song is brilliant. A Michael Nesmith compostion. The lyrics are great and bring back a lot of good memories about the "girls we al knew somewhere. " Thanks Mike and Thanks! Monkees. You guys will always rule compared to a lot of the musical junk that is currently out there.
@anakina1 summer of 2002 tour. the enitre show is available to download on many sights for free. very good live show one of their best its just a shame Nesmith couldnt have been there
@rollmop7 When was this show actually made. i went to a concert March 2002 in Birmingham, UK, with Mick and Davy. Peter had dropped out of the tour before they came to the UK.

@Durktle Don't you believe it! You have to think by this point, he can play. He played on their 1996 remake of "Circle Sky" for example.
