i think that its always the way with the console sims games. I think they probably spend to much time on the PC games (no complaints there, its the best!) but spend little on the console....

Touchscreen to give it the possibility of having controls akin to the PC version, decent 3D graphics to give it all of the traditional setup, no reason to remove things like the needs meters or phone services.....

Yep, they screwed this one up. Sims 3 on 3DS could have been a lot better. HOPEFULLY they don't do the same thing when the Vita releases, but I sure as heck won't get my hopes up there.

I don't know about you but yes Graphics don't mean everything but it would be disappointing if i got Starfox 64 3d or the Ocarina of time 3d with their original n64 graphics. Sometimes Graphics do have meaning to the gameplay. If you played Kirby's Epic yarn and only half the things were fabric related it would be sort of dull and disappointing.

@Valorie111 Well one reason is that they don't show you a meter of your sim's needs and kind of tell you stuff at the last minute :P Another reason it's hard to make friends with many people because if you want them to stay your friend, you have to keep in touch with them constantly. And, like the video said, you have to keep mopping up puddles from leaking showers and sinks--you can't really "enjoy" time.

This HAS to be bad. All sims games for the Ds have bad graphics, and you can't do much in the game. If you wanna play Sims go for PC. That's really the best version. If you can't get it for pc atleast get it for xbox or wii. Not Ds. The wii version isn't even that good so i highly doubt a Ds version would be good. I got Sims 2 apartment pets for ds and it is one of the worst games ever. T_T

@futoncat You've got to take into account that these games are on cartages and don't have the same storage capacity as a dvd. Therefore a lot of things have to be compressed, one of those being textures. Sure I agree this game could look better and I also agree that the 3DS is capable of better graphics.

@futoncat Well you have to remember that the game is also rendering a top down 3D view of the game on the bottom screen as well, which they didn't show. That slows down the game and reduces the graphical complexity. It would have been better of the bottom map was in 2D, freeing up more resources for the rest of the game.
