@SilverCyclist Sometimes you need the electric thermal to stay up. Joke aside, it's not a soaring glider but an electric glider, uses the engine to climb then foldes the prop for gliding.

I have an ASW-28 foamy glider, good for beginners, but needs some work and adjusting before you fly it. Ask for help at your local club.

so my parkzone radian is 2.0 meters/ 80 inches.

The wing bends sometimes. It should be stiffer a little bit. Nice plane though. How about thermalling?

no problem to have flights of 2 hours on a good day

This is a fiberglass kit, very nice and easy to modify to electric, I have a retrofit video here which will guide you through the setup along with shop videos.

Nice look. But only good as a scale warmliner. Too heavy for thermal, too weak for slope (at least for landings). I'm still waiting for a scale look "not foamy" sailplane in 2,5 meters that really thermals.

I got one of these without a motor. It didnt seem to want to stop up for very long and also takes damage very easy even on soft landings. Wish i had bought the one with the motor mounted on the top now. and a wheel.
