I totally agree that they should not be anywhere around the area of the contaminated! I am doing a report about Attawapiskats issues.. for my english class!

So the real question is- would Chuck Strahl send his children to school in Attawapiskat?? As an educator, if I am not prepared to send my children to that school, then things just aren't good enough! I worked there in the early 90s, and there were issues of health and safety surrounding the school then!

Please send this video to everyone you know- if the average Canadian understood, I truly believe they would not allow this situation to continue!

I think the bigger issue is HEALTH in Attawapiskat. I think that they should have the entire community evacuate the area until it is stable for all of you to live there. It is not just your education that is important but it is your health and well being of your community. If your family or friends become extremely sick over this then education will not be your first concern.

That is what the Chief and Council been asking since they declare state of emergency but INAC refuse to follow thru! CC are looking into alternative routes and now just passed a motion to take legal action against the gov't for contaminating the land and their negligence. They need all the support they can get. Do what is right and let the world know Canadians will not put up with its leaders committing a terrible disregard for the safety of the First Nations in Canada!!

I get the basic idea from the other video's i've previewed and information i've read. How can any person watch others live in poisons such as this, that can slowly kill innocent people n the unborn. If this was to be happening near the Feds homes. You know something would have been done the day it was discovered. Not only is their health being damaged and their environment but also their education is being disturbed. How about trading places for a while and see how healthy their families stay?

Chuck Strahl, who is this guy who thinks he's an authority on First Nation People and the living conditions of FNPeople? Just because some bureaucrat gives him a job (and that's all it is to bureaucrats is a job) as a Minister of Indian Affairs, he thinks he knows what's "good for Anishnabai." Well if this fella knows what's best because the gov't still looks at the Anishnabai as "wards of the crown," He'd best start treating these "wards" with same thoughtfullness he his own wards in his home.
