@SnorlaxSushi I was watching CPTV the other night and their digital transmitter was messed up. When this show was on all the images were pixelated, and the speech kept stalling. It made it even more freaking hilarious. I DVR-ed it, and I may even upload it.

I used to watch this show when I was 3. My children, Madison, Alex, and Ashley love it aswell. And Sid was so kawaii.

I don't like all the CG and animation that PBS is using these days. I'd rather see the classic Henson puppets, or any puppets...or actors. It makes it more personable and more relatable. Animation and CG just creates a lack of imagination. Sometimes, actors and puppets make you have to imagine that last step, and it makes all the difference.

Yeah, everything looks artificial and wrong. John Kricfalusi (the Ren and Stimpy creator) would fly to the PBS Kids HQ just to kick the producers in their collective ding dong if he saw this.

It's motion captured, so real actors are actually driving the character animation, which tends to make it look less animated and more realistic in movement. Also there are puppeteers that drive the facial animation, as well as some secondary animation.
