  • religion is forced mythology

  • great video

  • There's hardly a "buddhist" concept of Hell - many Buddhists do not accept ANY form of afterlife-hell; most of those who do, inherit the "hells" of their local culture/folklore.

  • At 1:56 why was the Templar cross shown as a separate religious symbol to the Christian cross?

  • Very good video--you did very good research, sir. :)

  • Treet-ice?

Budge died in 1934, Did you channel him to find out in what he was saying in 1960? Or do you think the printing date in a book is when it was written?

If you really want to look into the background of the hell of the monotheistic faiths, look at Zoroastrianism.

    reef-use?

Are you not a native English speaker?

  • @HConstantine the 1960 version was a re-publication and easier to locate then the original. That's why it was used.

  • there is no heaven or hell

  • Youtube -

  • the holy atheism is our mother, who sent her daughter, artheism, to the world, to save us from christianity and to transform religion. only by the daughter we come to the mother, and only by the mother, we come to the daughter. and the only ones going to eternal hell are the ones who made eternal hell up and preach and threaten others with it. fact!

  • Part II. If Jesus is God and co-creator with the Father, how come he didn't know when one of his own creations, the fig tree, was in season to bear figs? After all, Mark 11:13 says "...And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he (Jesus) came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; FOR THE TIME OF FIGS WAS NOT YET...' I repeat: "...was NOT yet..." got it? Get it.

  • Part I. If the Hebrew god is truly a god he has to be omnipresent, omnipotent & omniscient. How come he says he has to transport himself from heaven to Sodom in order to verify the rumors about its sinfulness? Not so omniscient, huh? Genesis 18:20 & the LORD said, "Because the cry of Sodom & Gomorrah is grea &, because their sin is very grievous; 18:21 I will go down now & see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me & if not, I will know."

  • VERY excellent! Subbed and favorited!

  • Cool vid.

I bet a lot of religious people don't know the origins of their own religion.

  • Hell is childish scare-mongering. NONSENSE.

  • its common sense

  • Lies Lies Lies

    Let no man decive you...

Satan does not want you to think that he nor hell is real but many people learn the hard way for an eternity. Study Bible Prophecies and the odds and the accuracy and then base your desion. Dud you are decived~!

  • perhaps you should study the Greek and Hebrew lexicons found within your bible so you know exactly what it is your bible is saying.

  • @QuestioProVerum i agree

  • @QuestioProVerum Well said...

  • @truthbeknowen I think you got it wrong there. Let no man deceive you... religion does not want you to find out that Satan and hell do not exist so you remain ignorant sheep full of fear and under its dictatorial rule of thought crimes, vicarious redemption and scapegoating through human sacrifice.

  • @EsotericWisdom33 Try studying Bible prophecy.

Dude God is amazing... I am not talking about Religion I am talking about a relationship. Research please. Check out Indescribable by Gilio

  • @truthbeknowen I have in the past in my search for truth. I didn't find anything special there. Same stories different versions.

You have to realize that your post contradicts itself. Bible prophecy and religion are linked to eachother. Also a relationship with God is a psychological state and thus isn't something that can be seriously researched. It's a masochistic relationship to have with a celestial dictator who will send you to hell if you don't obey his commands or love.

  • @truthbeknowen QuestioProVerum is right, you need to find out what the underlying Greek and Hebrew words are that get erroneously and inconsistently translated sometimes as "hell" and "eternal/everlasting/forever/forever-and-ever".

  • @truthbeknowen It is you who is deceived. There is no Heaven, there is no Hell, there is no place outside of this.

  • It's no coincidence that every ancient civilization has legends that are all strikingly similar about gods/angels coming down to earth, giants/titans stomping around, a global flood with only a family of (usually) 8 being saved on a boat with animals, etc. If there was originally one language this would make sense, and explains why all cultures share common ideas, archetypes, star signs, etc. Such nations also have an Enoch figure and this is where the idea of the underworld with gods comes in.

  • So Gehenna was hell on earth.

Well, they need an earthly picture to dupe the people with.

  • "Zulu tribes examplify one of the 12% cultures that practice no religion". I thought that Zulu tribes were Christians (but a different flavor of christianity)... I'm conducting a research (only for my own interests): Could you indicate where I can find this kind of material?

And the evidences of 10000 religions (old and new) and 3 million gods and deities...

Rest assured that I'm not a religous man (quite oposite)... But I like very much to verify this facts by my own...

    Thanks

  • Part One:

Before Christian missionaries came to Africa and taught a false dogmatic belief, Zulu did not practice any form of religion. They did believe in spirits, but not a creator.

David Hume wrote an excellent book called the "natural history of religion" that contains a lot of information on the history of religion and its deities.

For religions, search "time line of religion" on Wikipedia. When I make this statement, I am also including branches within a particular religion.

  • Part Two:

For example, Christianity has many religions within it, such as Catholic, protestant, baptist, Jehovah's witness and so on. While they all worship the same god, there doctrines and beliefs differ, technically creating a varying religion.

  • Part Three:

There is no way of knowing precisely how many deities have been created throughout history, but I used some concrete numbers. For example, Egypt produced a total of about 500 gods just by themselves. Look up The Egyptian Gods: A Handbook by Alan Shorter.

I can send you some more links via PM, just not enough room to write it all here. ;-)

  • Thanks a lot for really valuable information. I apreciate it!

  • Ahhh.... please, if you can (if it is not a great deal), send me those links... I intent to start making these kind of videos here, on Youtube, but in Portuguese (PT-BR) - I'm brasilian.

    thanks!

  • Did I hear you right at 2:44? It sounded like you said the date of Budge's editon of the Book of the Dead was 1960. If I did hear you right, then it must be the date of a reprint. The first edition was published in 1895 and Budge died in 1934.

  • You heard me correctly good sir. I used the reprint date because that specific edition (which is a reprint under a different publisher) is easier to locate then the original.

  • interesting vid thanks for the info

  • Very informative. Thanks for making this!

  • hell = complete separation from God

  • @KungFatty

    sounds like heaven to me!

  • Great video!!!!!

  • I remember this video it was amazing the and amazing now.

  • Great video, Thanks for sharing it.

  • wow i love the vid man very educational but what do you think happens when we die

  • The word "Hell" derives from the nordic word "Hel" that ment to bury something like a grave or to cover up something. thats why today we have the word HELmet to cover up your head - Jordan Maxwell

  • Your right that the English word Hell derives from the Germanic word Hel, but the idea of hell derives from the ancient concepts of it. Such as the places discussed in this video.

  • I don't think brimstone could have been used to fuel the fires of gehenna. Sulfur does not burn well by itself, not as well as wood or coal, and it is much more rare, expensive and useful.

  • Part One:

I used Lloyd Bailey's book titled, "Enigmatic Bible Passages: Gehenna: The Topography of Hell" as a source for what was used to sustain the fires.

I agree that wood and/or coal would have worked a lot better, but remember that creationists take everything literally, especially details surrounding Gehenna and their worldview of Hell.

  • Part two:

The Hebrew word "gophriyth" or brimstone, appears 7 times in OT scripture. However, NT scripture contains the Greek word "theion" a total of 8 times, which also represents brimstone. Seven of which, appear only in the book of Revelation. Sulfur doesn't even appear in either Old or New Testament scripture.

However, archeological digs have found large deposits of sulfur and brimstone in Gehenna, but not coal? Just a couple interesting tidbits of information. ;-]

  • Weird, maybe there was a large natural source nearby that made it cheap or maybe it had some religious significance. or possibly they thought it sanitized the trash. It would have driven off vermin pretty well. Still, it would have made a nasty place nastier.

  • They could have been a little more original at picking names and concepts if they wanted their religions to be a little more credible.

They were smart, but not enough to predict a central information source like the Internet where people could research their way out.

  • You imply religions were deliberately constructed to trick people. I think there is more evidence that they evolved. You could probably develop a whole phylogeny of religions with many transitional forms. There was a lot of horizontal gene transfer: Elements from different regions blended when people of different cultures met, stories transformed over time, names changed, but for the most part this was a slow process. I don't believe that some day someone said: Now I'm gonna invent Judaism..

  • @dasGagaTier

By the institutions such as the Vatican. How much secrecy is involved in the clergy of certain religions, or the doctrines themselves, like Judaism and its Kabbalistic "hidden meanings", we can be sure that some conspiracy to control others is an obvious fact.

Their crusades, their punishments, their forced conversion of people denotes this further.

    -Cont-

  • @dasGagaTier

Ancient civilizations like the Sumerians, Aztecs, Egyptians, used religion to trick their people... Did they themselves believed in it? How could we know?

I just find it hard to believe that powerful people believe in such nonsense.

I do agree with you. Religions evolved, people cooperated to form them, but I personally believe it was not just this what contributed to funding religions.

It's important to mention that religion is a means to control people, specially today.
