my 450 got stuck on a rock ina deep mud puddle i made it before but my gay ass plow mount got hung up l0ls but its fixed now yay some more fun for me :D!
the dude filming this video is an excellent problem solver. listen to him assist the other guy with day saving information. he told the guy to stop trying to star his quad because water could suck into the engine. Very smart. He also asked if the guy had his cell in his pocket. Again, quick thinkin. Props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
retard, my 6 year old brother could have made it through that on his honda 90, because he is smart enough not ot let off the gas when the muffler is under....
the bike should be fine and if water got in just tip it straight up and if there was any water then it will come out the exhaust and also go ahead and change your oil to be on the safe side to make sure water didnt get in their either.
There's always the exhaust pipe though. It's a lot easier to drown out that way. He probably let off the gas for a second and next thing he knew it started to die. It wasn't very smart of him to try to start it after it died though, that just lets in more water.
wat r u talking about grizzlys love water brute forces on the other side suck there always messing up and suck in water cuz the gas tank iz in the back....check out my grizzly
You have to keep the RPM's up on the grizz 700. Mine does the same thing and I've started it in deeper water than that. It dies because the idle is too low. You can make it do that on dry ground by covering the exhaust. with a rag. Try going slower into the holes and keep yur RPM's up.
well it ddnt get water in it for on thing, thats not why it died. thats because it got water in the carb. if you wold have just tilted it back on the back rack and drained water out the muffler it would have started
i gotta brand new griz 700 and it does that if you let it idle n water shallower than that i personally think its an overheating problem or either it chokes it self of on when you go from full throttle to idle.
damn this makes me wanna go outside n start up my quad 2 bad it's 2 l8 in the evening. god damn it my lil fast quad broke the front suspension!! now i have to drive my big 2 stroke quad which is MUCH slower.
was not me driving the atv only taping it. It didnt get water in intake that i am aware of either. all i know is that once it shut off it then sucked water through the tailpipe
yea that shows about how damn stupid yall are!! if the motor stalled because of the water it would not turn over! the cylinder would be full of water! and 2 the camera man told the kid to put the winch to the back rack. thats about the dumbest damn thing ive ever heard of!
if you put water into the intake it doesnt mean its gonna go straight to the cylinders, itll still turn over because all its doin is spikin the fuel with water (I.E. the Intake, where water went, leads to the carb)meaning it WILL SPARK but the water (WHICH EVAPORATES WHEN THE GAS IGNITES) will kill the reaction before it actualy can produce the force, besides, if he had gotten it started it would have fried his seals thanks to the extremely low oil viscosity
yamaha is tha bomb this is the first ive seen this ive had no problems in water tht deep with mine but stock tires screw dat crap man those tires shitty (yamaha 4 life )
Funny but it doesnt sound like it inhaled water. If it had it would have hydrolocked the engine and the starter would never have turned it over. It also would have taken more than just a couple oil changes to bring it back- a plug pulled and cylinder died out at least. It sounds more like the tank was probably almost empty and when it tilted, whatever gas was in it shifted to the low side of the of the tank away from the fuel pump pick up.
* sorry- meant to say cylinder dried out. But as I said- sounds like it was a fuel issue. I bet if it had been kept level or had more gas it in it wouldnt have stalled. Aint seen anyone else on youtube do this yet......
the tanks were full we had only gone about 10 miles since fill up. he did get water sucked through the tailpipe as evidence of picking up the front end to drain it all out. the crank also had water in it and was changed out a few times til it came out without any water residue.
it not if yamaha or whoever sucks, its truly a lack of riding experience and brains, not to mention that retard dont know how to listen, nothing like mud and water sucked back into the motor, personally i love riding and who cares what kind it is, i just hate idiots
It was my buddies. He got deep in the mud and it stauled out. So when he kept trying to start it, it sucked in water. I towed it to my house and then we had to change the oil about 3 or so times to get the water out. runs fine now
была такая проблема, скинул обороты, движок поработал немного, поехал дальше

if you stop in water with the muffler under DO NOT restart. when goin deep go low gear and wide open!

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, water was not the reason that grizz died, it's not even to the bottom of the airbox.

The Air box must have been leaking?
Because the Grizzly intakes are higher then that.
Because my friends 660 can go through deeper water then my 800 can am, but I could take my can am throught that?
I wanna try that hole :)
