Sometimes the charger not working is due to a blown fuse, quite easy to replace and inexpensive. Well, it's good to have your own wheels to be independent.
It seems that we're always fighting insurance in one way or another. I hate to hear that it's a medication that you need and cannot get. I'm in a similar situation waiting on something to be approved. I hope it can get worked out because there's no need for you to be miserable when you have taken the medication before.
I think the charger may be linked to the AC fuse having been taken out (the AC doesn't work so the previous owner took the fuse out - not sure why). So if it's just that, it's easy.
Having to fight insurance when you're sick and have limited energy to start with is so frustrating. I've had to fight for IVs many times but orals have all been easy to get. Guess I was lucky up until now. It sucks. Hope you get your approval soon!
