@ClooneyThunder "Leg Kick" doesn't not mean a kick WITH the leg....It means TO the kick to the leg. So a "leg kick KO" means to stop someone by way of LEG KICKS... Educate urself before making silly statement. Furthermore breaking someone's arm (also known as "breaking the shell") with a kick is pretty common in Muay Thai so I guess ur statement is further proven foolish as there most definitely can be an "Arm kick K.O/TKO". As of July 23rd, Elbows are now allowed here in New Jersey, the rest of the east coast states should follow shortly so I expect the talent and level of fighters in the east to soon catch up the those in the west. @DaConquistador03 I've done Muay thai boxing a number of years now and sparred quite a few guys who just boxed. I could have done what ever i wanted with my legs, boxers can't handle kicks. It's not the fault of the boxer, they don't train the legs to kick so why learn to defend against a kick. I agree on the wrestling side, you can't be like that against a wrestler, you'd end up on your back. But then, this isn't wrestling is it, so no need to guard against a take down.

@undeadpresident ... Side kicks have a small target and are easier to move out of the way of. Sweeping Muay Thai Leg kicks have a Wide Range target and are harder to get out of the way or go bone to bone ... ouch. ;-)

@CentredOne Yeah i know the guy who won in the video, he's a pro thai fighter and does that for a living? And you're an idiot the point of fighting is to win however you can in the rules. Even if he was being malicious (which you have no idea if he was or not which basically makes you sound dumb right there) it's a fight and you're not going into the fucking ring thinking I'm going to take it easy on this guys otherwise you will lose.

@docthailand hey do you know why side kicks to the knee or shin aren't used much in muay thai? Some martial artists teach them and say they are very effective, others don't use them and are great fighters nonetheless. Just wondering your thoughts about it.

@undeadpresident ... Side kicks have a small target and are easier to move out of the way of. Sweeping Muay Thai Leg kicks have a Wide Range target and are harder to get out of the way or go bone to bone ... ouch. ;-)
